Requested late check out when checking in and the person at reception confirmed check out for 2p.m The next morning the phone rang at 12 to ask me to leave. I explained I had booked and confirmed a late check out. Staff were appalling no matter how many times I explained I had organised late check out and that I just couldn’t physically get out immediately as I had to finish getting dressed and pack they persisted to tell me to get out immediately. It was only when a staff member came to the room to deliver the same message and observed how upset I was trying to pack my bag and get organised to leave did they give us 20 minutes to get out. It’s run down and noisy on the corridors. Couldn’t close the bathroom door because sink is in the way. So no privacy in the bathroom. Couldn’t sleep because every 30 seconds there were sounds of the cistern in the toilet gurgling and filling up. It drove me mad. It’s expensive and not worth it. More like a 2 star if even!

The toilet was dirty, there was mold on the shower grout, and hair in the shower and sink.

Nice room, however, lacks a bar, a restaurant, or a fitness center.

Maybe it was because we arrived too late, the front desk staff was not very welcoming, we entered the room in the dark, the door was tight and hard to close. After sleeping all night, there was noise in the corridor and rain on the top floor. Then we got up early and prepared to go out. The room safe was just a decoration. We closed the door carefully. When we returned to the room before dark, the door was not locked.
