Hotel Astra Opera - Astotel Reviews

Stayed here for 10 days. Amazing location (near the Paris Opera) with walkable (20-30 minutes) access to all the major attractions! The metro stations are accessible by 5 mins walk as well! And Gare St. Lazare is 10 mins by walk. Recently renovated, with excellent rooms and beds! Walk-in showers with more than enough room was a pleasant surprise! Amazing staff in the front office, (especially Anthony and Magali) restaurant and house-keeping as well! This is the only hotel where the house-keeping team makes the room as it was on day one! We never had to ask for any amenities as it replenished every day! The staff recommendations on nearby restaurants were excellent! This is the place I will stay whenever I return to Paris.

We just had the best stay...our kids of 5 and 8 enjoyed the pool every night. The morning breakfast was amazing for the family. Perfect way to start the day. The location is suberb, nice and quiet for family but an easy walk to most attractions.

Absolutely love this hotel! The staff was very friendly. The accommodations were very comfortable. The stocked mini bar and surprise delivery to our room made our day! The spa and steamroom were very enjoyable. The only complaint was the sauna was out of order. Would definitely recommend to all and stay again!!

We had a great experience in this hotel. Everybody was very helpful. We had 2 incidents that were resolved quickly by the staff. I misplaced my cell phone and several people interacted with each other and with me to find it. Thanks to Anthony, Paul, Aileen and Victoria for their commitment to solve it quickly and effectively. With the use of cameras and the iPhone “find me” app, we were able to find it. Many thanks! The second incident was in our departure because the street was blocked by repairs and therefore Uber - that I reserved the day before - could not come to pick me up at the hotel door. Victoria talked to the driver in french and they agreed on a different pick me up spot a block from the hotel. Victoria and the other lady in reception helped us with our luggage and waited for the uber driver and left after everything was OK and we were on our way. Very impressive and professional. Thanks.

Lovely hotel in a very convenient, central location. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Was with teenage sons who loved the pool and the breakfast selections too! Would definitely stay there again and heartily recommend if you are looking for city centre hotel that is lovely but without fuss.

The hotel is exceptional and so are the people working here! Staying here really saved my trip and helped me regenerate during a very exhausting conference. It is warm, bright, cozy and stylish. The Spa area is so wonderfully made that you can spend there hours and enjoy the quite regeneration. As a sustainability founder my heart was filled with joy that even the sport equipment was out of wood! The team keeps an eye on every detail. The breakfast is also great and this is true even for a person with allergies! The cook prepared a wonderful omelette for me and I could get the energy I needed to get through the days. I even organized some of my business meetings here & my colleagues were envying me for staying here :-)

The place was soo beautiful, luxury👍 I found it from the recommendations of trip advisor and really feel happy that I came to this place😍 It was my dream to visit Paris since my childhood and now I am happy I reach my goal. Next time I will definitely come here

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel with our family of four. It is in a prime location, very clean and charming and the staff was fabulous!!! We would highly recommend this to a family or a couple looking to get away!! We will definitely be returning without our children for a relaxing get away!

Fantastic hotel in a great location for all the key sites (and shops!). The service was fantastic and the reception staff went above and beyond to enable us to get a taxi to Roland Garros (even when the marathon was on and the roads were closed in central Paris). Rooms were clean and furnished to a high standard. I would also echo, it’s worth paying for breakfast as the buffet caterers for all.

Absolute gem of a hotel in the Opera district! I booked on a whim and the service, daily breakfast, and amenities (the spa & pool looked just like the photos!) were wonderful. Extremely clean, modern and refreshed. And great location that's in walking distance to main attractions in Paris.

Great hotel, extremely helpful and friendly staff, wonderful location, beautiful swimming pool and sauna, confortable beds, very quiet. High quality breakfast, very nice working area, brand new facilities. Free premium coffee and (non-alcoholic) drinks and snacks at all times, and access to all 17 hotels for coffee and drinks

Astotel is a wonderful group of small Parisian hotels with wonderful employees, and Anthony at the front desk of the Hôtel Astra Opéra is a perfect representative. My wallet was stolen during my recent trip to Paris. Because the thief threw away everything except cash and credit cards, my Astotel room card allowed the good samaritan who found the discards to leave them with Anthony. He was able to see that I had been registered at another Astotel property, he contacted me, and mailed the items to my home in the States. His action, while perhaps unusual at some other hotel chain, typifies what I have experienced during previous stays at two other Astotel properties. Employees and facilities leave nothing to be desired and any Astotel property is my go-to hotel during future visits to this great city.

Newly renovated hotel with great amenities and service in a great, safe neighborhood off a relatively quiet street. The elevator is big enough for guests and luggage. The room was thoughtfully designed with power switches and usb and c chargers on each side. The window had blackout curtains and opened up to a quiet courtyard. The beds and bedding were comfortable. The bathroom was cozy but laid out well and had a fan that quietly runs constantly which keeps the mirror from fogging after the shower. The lobby and dining area are nice and would be great for groups or families to relax together outside of their rooms. We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel but the evening snack bar was nice.

I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed staying at this hotel having no idea where it was located and the unfamiliarity of the hotel itself. The staff is very friendly, the room a nice size for two people, and the breakfast buffet was amazing. The little extra touches such as the minibar being gratis and snacks galore every afternoon. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was easily walking distance within good restaurants and shopping.
