Overall, this is a nice aparthotel, a bit pricey (around 205 euros per night) compared to the location away from Montparnasse and the metro and bus stations. The studio is bright and spacious, but the decor and colors need a re-examination. On the other hand, we felt it was a bit dated (facilities and rooms), but it was clean and quiet. Overall satisfactory stay

We stayed here for 3 months while looking for an apartment. I must say I we have had extraordinary hospitality. The management staff here is amazing. I must mention Patrick the GM as Mallik and Samuel. They all happen to be mangers and always check on my wife and myself to make sure our stay is comfortable. When they see us in the lobby they always offer us coffee or anything we need. It starts with good management which is why the front desk staff are so well trained. 5 stars for sure. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet and the dining choice is amazing

1. We used our upgrade certificate and received an update. The upgrade was rescinded 12 hours later. 2. The internet connection did not work with name and room number. I called the front desk about ten times, but I kept getting hung up on. My husband went downstairs because the AC wasn't working. He found out that the WiFi connection required a passcode, not the standard login. 3. The front desk promised to come to our room and fix the AC. Never happened. 4. Water backs up in the shower. 5. Several front desk staff unbearably rude. 5. The app didn't work in the laundry room. 6. Heard many guests complaining about various things. 7. Worst rum Marriott I have ever been too.

Our stay at Residence Inn Didot was exceptional. The breakfast had many choices with fresh delicious croissants that were brought in daily. Many thanks to the exceptional friendly staff, in particular Samuel who was an 11 out of 10 with great service and a friendly smile each time we saw him. The neighbourhood was an exceptional place to stay as it had many good restaurants in walking distance to the hotel and the metro was only 6 minutes away. As well it got us away from the hustle bustle of all the tourists!! We felt very safe in this and will stay there again if back in Paris.

This is an old building with old facilities. There are a few pros but mostly cons. We booked two rooms for a family of four. Things were looking so bad that we chose to walk out in an hour and chose to forego one nights room rate. The airbnb we emergency booked in Montparnasse was so much better with a cheaper rate. The Good: 1. Grocery store and places to eat on the same street. Easy to get stuff and get food. 2. Not too far away from city center. Easy to get on the highway if you want to go to Paris Orly. 3. Cheap room rates The Bad: 1. Very old building, musty smell as soon as you exit the elevator 2. Rooms are not that big. I know Paris hotels are on the smaller side, but this is also not a lot of space 3. Badly designed bathrooms - The WC is near the main door and the doors actually interfere with the main room door. The Shower is on the other side of the room. No scope of washing hands (you will get the point it if you are asian) 4. Flimsy keycard holder for the lights. I kept brushing against making the key card fall out and all the lights go off. 5. Hotel is on a one way street. Also no place to stop or park in front of the hotel. Makes it difficult for taxis to pick up and drop off.

Horrible experience . I stayed two weeks . For both weeks I booked a suite and the first week that gave me normal room as trying to sell as the suite as has balcony . After 3 days of complaining for next week the gave me the suite as I spent one week in regular room. As I checked the second week they overcharged me by $ 294 as I tried and spent 3 days with them the admitted that was a mistake se promised that will be returned to my credit card but never returned . Resolved with dispute with credit card and after one month I got the money back as I proved the credit card all booking and invoices . Second worry thing the staff was entering on the room without knocking and neglected the “Do not disturb “ at the door .

Nice Hotel almost at the peripheries of Paris, accessible to T3 and many bus stations and RER B that in max 30 min you will be in the center of Paris, 3 stops to city universitaire by taking the T3 that is 5 min walk from the hotel. The rooms are clean, rejuvenated hotel, friendly and helpful receptionists. The breakfast is normal, Thank uou Elizer for being so helpful and cheerful In general it was a good stay

Horrible experience. Do not book with this hotel. I was traveling with my 4 yr old son. Two weeks before travel, I received an email stating they were having issues with my payment information. The email stated that they would cancel my reservation in 3 days if there was still an issue. So I updated it on the same day and wrote them back. Then, I never heard back so I assumed all was well. Well, we stated our trip and traveled to London. The day we were set to leave London and start our stay in Paris, mere hours before our arrival, I received an email that our booking was canceled. I called Marriott Bonvoy who tried to contact them. They hung up on them. Then, I called and had to continue calling 10 times to get reception to pick up or stay on the line with me. They accused me of never fixing the issue and then stated they never got my email. I shared that I had proof and they stated something must be wrong with my email (although it seems like service seems to remain an issue at this hotel with emails. See other reviews below). I was, again, traveling with my 4 yr old son and was beyond frantic and panicked that we had no place to stay the night. By the 10th call, they stated that they were willing to honor the price and then stated that they couldn’t take us anyway because I indicate 2 adults instead of 1 adult and 1 child. What does this even matter? Also important to note is that this was the only hotel that had issues with my payment information. No hotels in London or my newly booked hotel in Paris had an issue. All in all, the most cruelest experience I have ever had on a trip and with hotel reception as it was clear this was done intentionally.

This fairly new hotel is just great. The staff work hard to make sure every need is met. The room we stayed in was well equipped, good sized, very comfortable, with a nice view of a center garden. It had a nespresso machine, a great shower, a nice kitchenette. It was quiet! The hotel's breakfast is really good, varied, great ingredients including creamy scrambled eggs, fromage blanc, croissants, fresh bread, yogurts, cheeses, etc. You can spread out (in the garden when it's warmer; in the lobby lounge when its colder). Coffee in the lobby all hours. The location is very good, metro station a few blocks away, tram a couple of blocks, bus across the street. The street is real. No tourist traps here--authentic boulangeries (3!), cafés, grocery store next door. It is completely livable and reasonably priced (excellent rapport qualité-prix). We appreciated the management, the staff, the stellar breakfast staff and housekeeping--everything. We had stayed when they first opened and they were just working things out. This second stay, they had worked out all the little kinks. Thank you for a great stay! We'll come again.

The hotel is hopefully on its way to becoming a 5 star rated for me. What I consider 5 stars: the housekeeping! They layout of my room and the amenities in kitchen. The breakfast and coffee machine in lobby. The large franprix grocery store conveniently downstairs for those cooking in rooms is a plus! The rooms are also spacious for Paris (granted rooms tend to be more spacious in Montparnasse but I appreciated it all the same) I travel a lot and hotels with kitchens like the Residence inn is extremely hard for housekeeping to clean and I we rely on them To make our stay great. My room couldn’t be that easy to clean. The 4 star is due to the fact my closet in room did not have shelves for clothes and was missing a hanger bar. When I asked them why this was they said “bc it’s an accessible room” I don’t believe my room was accessible due to the way the bathroom was configured additionally, most wheelchair accessible customers travel with a companion and they would still need to hang their clothes! So I don’t like this excuse at all. They also didn’t have suitcase stands available for guests which is a huge fail For me and I had to use the kitchen table To prop my suitcase up. I would give 3 stars for the fact the temperature control was off. The building has bad insulation and so even when it is 5 degrees outside the room is uncomfortably warm. I did notice a customer on ******* mentioned the same thing in July but for December 31 - January 2 I didn’t expect the same problem. I had to leave the window open (per the hotel’s advisory) but my boyfriend had a cold and it wasn’t good for him. All this said I would stay at this hotel again if I want that studio apartment style and I do think they are doing good job for Paris and hopefully improving as they are new. Late checkout for Bonvoy gold members helped a lot!

This is a gem of a property if you're willing to be on the edge of Paris but within easy access to everything you want to see. Excellent staff, breakfast, facility, rooms. The 24/7 seltzer and coffee was a nice bonus. The bus right out from takes you to Chatelet in central Paris in 30 minutes, or you can walk about 10 minutes to the 4 or 13. The neighborhood is cute and allows you to be in the real, non-touristy Paris you might not otherwise see. Highly recommend.

Good value in residential neighborhood. Relatively close to Metro and on Bus line. Plenty of shops, Grocery Stores, supermarkets, restaurants in the neighborhood. The studio we stayed in was well appointed and functional. Staff "par excellance!" Breakfast room better than most. Near St Joseph Hospital. Closet room adequate but no dresser or shelves for clothes.

Worst hotel , it’s also in dodgy area . You can get better hotel appartments in a nicer and safer area. Don’t be foolish with the money you pay for that , you get better place in a safe area in Paris. It’s just scary to go out at night in that area . Lots of gang teens. Avoid

The staff was unbelievable helpful. I loved talking to the breakfast staff who were very helpful especially when I was leaving a few minutes before they opened. They made us feel comfortable and gave us a to go bread and coffee!
