The hotel's location is super convenient, just a few hundred meters from the Huangguoshu Scenic Area. The owner was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, giving us great recommendations for local food – we followed their advice and didn't have a single bad meal! The room facilities are complete, and all the hardware is from well-known brands. The bathroom was clean and odor-free. The rice noodles and coffee for breakfast were also delicious. Even during the May Day holiday, the prices weren't ridiculously inflated. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting the Huangguoshu Scenic Area.

Comfortable and Convenient Stay with Thoughtful Host We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room is new and modern. However, shower room tiling can be improve further for one of the family room toilet. But the other toilets in the other rooms are good. The location is good, near the second entrance of Huang Guo Shu Waterfall which only opens for day trip. It has MacDonald & bubble tea shop nearby for comfort food. However, it is a 20 min walk from the main ticketing entrance for foreigners for day and evening tickets. Though it is quite a distance, but it is better than getting stuck in the heavy traffic during this peak season. Talking a stroll, passing by the restaurants are ok. The owner is fantastic — they assisted us with one parcel collection from Taobao, which was a huge help since collecting them ourselves would have been inconvenient. They also send our family out to the main road as our 9 seater big bus is not able to enter the small lane to the homestay. To walk to the main road, there is a staircase which is about 1 min walk up. Ok for young and young seniors, but may not be very suitable for very old people with walking difficulties. Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who goes the extra mile!

The hotel is quite new, and the room was lovely, with a pleasant scent upon entering. The pillows were very comfortable, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of options. In the front desk area, there's complimentary fruit tea, coffee, hot water, and oranges. The hotel provides a free shuttle service to the Tourist Center, which you can book at the front desk (it's just a few minutes away from the Huangguoshu Third Tourist Center). There's a gym and a laundry room (though it gets busy with people washing and drying clothes in the evening; you can check availability on the room TV and scan a code to see your laundry's status). This is my second stay at an Orange branded hotel, and overall, it's been a great experience. Highly recommended!

Highly, highly recommend this hotel!!! I traveled to Huangguoshu Waterfall by myself, so here's my review. First, let's talk about the hotel overall. The front desk service was excellent and left a great impression on me. The hotel also has a pool and a gym, and the restaurant is quite large (though there are local specialty restaurants right outside, which I think are better for experiencing local flavor). Then there's the room! It was comfortable and clean, really hard to find any fault with it. Plus, the smart home features made the trip even more worthwhile. P.S. Huangguoshu Waterfall was truly magnificent during this period, but unfortunately, due to the rainy season, some areas were inaccessible. It's a shame, but I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit!

The service was excellent! The butler was super responsive, even helping my child print out homework and giving us coffee vouchers. Just a heads-up, the coffee shop doesn't open until 11 AM. The environment is lovely and very quiet, and my child had a blast swimming. To help you improve even further, here are a few suggestions: We stayed in the Xue Zhu room, and the bed frame on the first floor creaks when you sit on it. It would be great if that could be fixed. It would be helpful to have smaller pillows available for children. Also, it might be a good idea to ask about check-in times beforehand and do the pest control earlier. The mosquito coils were quite strong, and my nose felt really uncomfortable at night 😷. When cleaning, if the showerhead could be adjusted to a handheld spray, it would prevent adults from getting wet when turning on the water to bathe children. I look forward to an even better experience on my next stay! Still highly recommend this place.

After days of research, I'm so glad I chose to stay within the scenic area instead of Anshun city. The ”blue hour” view from the rooftop observation deck was incredibly therapeutic. The hotel offers shuttle service to the visitor center from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and the spacious business van was very comfortable. The driver even proactively asked us where we wanted to go and added us on WeChat for easy communication. Dining was also convenient; there are plenty of eateries just outside the hotel, or you can order in if you prefer. They even have a washing machine and dryer. The room itself was very spacious and excellent!

Highly recommend this guesthouse! The environment is fantastic: lush lawns, dense forests, adorable animals, and individual wooden houses… The service is also excellent: our class reunion team-building event had over thirty people, and the manager and staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, from setting up the buffet to arranging the bonfire party. They even created a special service group for us, always ready to assist us. In short, it was a very meaningful team-building event that ended perfectly. Many thanks to the entire guesthouse staff for their hard work and to the owner for the generous discounts!

We booked a room with a waterfall view, and to our surprise, the hotel's own waterfall viewing platform was right next to it. After spending the afternoon at Tianxing Bridge, we had dinner right there on the hotel's platform. The view was absolutely priceless; what we ate hardly mattered. We chose this hotel based on many guest reviews, knowing its advantages, but experiencing it firsthand truly saved us from unnecessary detours. The 'God's eye view' of the great waterfall is right outside the hotel's main entrance, to the right. It's less than a kilometer's walk, so there's no need to follow online guides suggesting you walk from Doupotang. If you have a reservation for Water Curtain Cave, head towards the great waterfall from the hotel's VIP通道 (VIP access). Don't buy the downhill elevator ticket, as this entire path is downhill and offers views you'd miss from the elevator. When you see the Water Curtain Cave sign halfway down the mountain, go there first. The exit of Water Curtain Cave leads you across a suspension bridge. If you're early enough and the staff haven't started their shift, you can cross the bridge directly to the bottom of the great waterfall for a front-on view. Once staff are on duty, reverse walking on the bridge is prohibited, so head towards the elevator. This path is flat. Walk to the elevator exit and then go down to the great waterfall. After enjoying the great waterfall, cross the suspension bridge towards the elevator and buy an uphill elevator ticket. If you want to return to the hotel, absolutely do not follow the park signs for the exit; that's the great waterfall visitor center, where you'd catch a bus to other scenic spots.

Hefayuan Hotel Stay Experience My overall experience at Hefayuan Hotel was very pleasant. The location is convenient for getting around. The hotel's exterior is quite unique, with its ethnic architectural design adding a distinct local flavor. There's also Baiweixuan Private Kitchen downstairs, offering a wide array of dining options. I stayed in a twin room. The room was spacious and well-organized, with two neat beds and soft, comfortable bedding that ensured a good night's sleep. The window offered an open view of the surrounding scenery, and the room had good natural light and ventilation. The amenities were comprehensive; the air conditioning ran steadily, and facilities like the TV and kettle were all available, meeting everyday travel needs. The decor was simple yet elegant, and the room was clean and tidy with good maintenance down to the details. The soundproofing was decent, and the environment was quiet and not noisy, allowing for undisturbed rest. The only minor drawback was that the bedding was a bit wrinkled; it would have been better if it had been smoothed out. Overall, it offers excellent value for money. The facilities are complete, the environment is quiet, and it's convenient for travel and dining. It's suitable for business trips or temporary stays, making it a top-notch choice for accommodation in the area. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next trip.
