L’emplacement de l’auberge est idéal. Elle s’ouvre dans une rue très calme tout en étant prés du centre ville, et a une autre façade qui donne sur le très beau parc de la Porte de Bretagne. L’environnement historique et charmant, avec ses remparts et les douves où coule une eau paisible, est propice aux plus beaux rêves. L’accueil est incomparable de gentillesse et chaque membre de l’équipe gérante vous reçoit avec professionnalisme accompagné d’ un vrai bon sourire de bienvenue. L’auberge, récemment rénovée possède des chambres bien fonctionnelles avec une bonne literie, une salle d'eau avec WC très propres. De plus votre sommeil est garanti par le calme régnant. Au bar vous pouvez, notamment, déguster une bière extra à choisir dans un bel éventail de bière de qualité. Toujours servie avec beaucoup d’amabilité ; Vous trouverez aussi une salle de réunion, une salle de jeux avec baby foot, une petite cuisine à disposition. Le petit déjeuner en libre service est bien achalandé pain frais, fruits, céréales, fromage, café thé … tout est prêt pour ouvrir une belle journée. Such a pleasure to return to what must be the best B&B in France. We thought it was just about perfect on our previous visit but it's even better now. Since we were last there Muriel (and with a liitle help) has converted part of the ground floor building into a huge room, so beautifully fitted and decorated. An enormous and equally well fitted bathroom. A delight to stay there and very good to see that Un Parfum has weathered the storm of Covid and come out gleaming. Muriel puts so much effort and enthusiasm into making her home so warming to visitors and is so helpful when her guests need a little help. Be proud of Un Parfum Muriel, you desrve to be. We stay in this hotel for several days , a least 3 times a year. The staff is always very welcoming, and cannot do enough for us. They always give us our favourite room. I love the breakfast.There are lots of fruits (kiwi, apples, fresh fruits salad, oranges, mango juice), yaourt, ham, cheese, bread and croissants and pains au chocolat. It is possible to park in the private car park for a small fee and the hotel is within walking distance for the centre. Many thanks to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Stayed over night to break up a coach journey. Clean, comfortable, good shower, friendly staff, breakfast was good though they struggled a little to keep up. Only one lift - not too good when a coach load arrives. Air conditioning was a bit noisy, but you can open a window.
