We had an exceptional stay at the hotel.We were upgraded and treated with great respect and kindness.The hotel was delightful and we loved the variety of art.The staff marked my daughters birthday with a cake and sang too! Fantastic! The gardens are beautiful..We loved the pool area and the Jasmine walk.We were offered a special rate for a massage/spa and this was very special indeed! I want to thank the staff for making our visit so very delightful and my daughters Birthday such a memorable experience! Ì

Wonderful stay. Very clean, friendly and polite staff, perfect breakfast. Very easy to access to the train station and city centre. Will definitely come again if back to Verona. Would be better to add a kettle to the room

Stayed at the Eurocongressi for four night. My partner and I were greeted by the lovely ladies in reception. We were given our room and It was lovely. Had a lovely view of the village. The hotel is dated but that doesn’t take away the cleanliness. Our rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels and rooms all mopped. There’s a good selection of cakes and pastries for breakfast and a few options of eggs and omelettes. Plenty to choose from. It’s in a good location, I would suggest hiring a car if you plan on travelling to sirmione. We absolutely loved our time at this hotel and in Italy. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay here.

This 3-4 star hotel is exactly as described and reviewed. So don’t expect a 5 star luxury palace. But if you want a good hotel in a quiet position, a 10-15min walk to the centre of Desenzano, then this fits the bill. We arrived earlier than regular check in but were met with friendly reception staff. I had emailed Hotel Oliveto knowing this and as promised could leave bags at reception and use the pool and pool bar till our room was ready. I forgot to pack a towel in hand luggage so rented pool towels (€3 per towel for the entire stay - not unreasonable) The pool is 25x10m, clean, not overly chlorinated and a lovely 28 degrees. It has spa corners to relax in and plentiful loungers and umbrellas. The family friendly hotel had lots of kids but the pool was never overly crowded, nor was the space around it. There’s no view of the lake but it’s reasonably private and I think it’s fine. The pool bar is open from midday till 7 and serves simple snack food (sandwiches, toasties, chips etc along with a reasonable range of drinks) A separate shaded seating area means you can eat away from the pool. When we got into the room, it was one of the older styles (as expected). The new refurbished ones look on the photos to be of a much more modern and luxury type but the standard double we had was as per the photos. Given I wasn’t planning to do much in the room other than sleep, wake up and shower, it was fine. The bathroom is dated but there’s plenty of hot water, a reasonable shower, very good AC and despite the previous reviews I found the WiFi to be pretty good. The breakfast was varied and as expected at a 4 star hotel. Plenty of choice with juice, coffees and teas, cereals, sweet pastries and cakes, continental meats and cheeses, yoghurts, fresh fruits and limited cooked breakfast items. We stayed when the hotel was full and although the dining area was full, we never had to wait for a table. Serving up till 10am meant we could lie in too. The other hotel facilities we used was the gym. A reasonable place with 2 running machines, a static cycle, rowing machine, a multi-weights machine, bench, free weights, kettles, Swiss balls and mat. Well air conditioned, you needed to book (COVID restrictions) but we were always able to get a slot we wanted. There was an indoor pool, and spa circuit but it was so nice and hot outside, we never tried them. The other reviews seem to be positive about them. We never had dinner at the hotel either. Desenzano del Garda is a town at the lower West corner of Lake Garda. It has some upmarket shops but in general is a laid back place with lots of restaurants. Don’t expect trendy fashionista bars or nightclubs. It’s clearly fueled by tourism but again doesn’t feel overly crowded or intimidating. Just a nice compact place. It’s a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel to the town centre which was never a problem. The town has a rocky beach with lounger/shade hire, pedalos and beachside restaurants. Hotel management service very very poor and rude behaviour. Coffee matching in room but no water inside the Matchin to make the coffee. We requested them to fill the water but they didn’t do anything. Today Night shift Manager was so rude with us because we had water bottles in our hands and the water we get from outside but night shift Manager stop us rudely start talking why we get the water from gym room but we didn’t even go to the gym to get the water. We came with our family to stay comfortably but those kind of behaviour how can we find comfortable. We pay lots of money expect good service but Hotel expo is completely different. Finally I will suggest whoever try to book the hotel please please thank before you book your trip.

Clean and nice hotel. It is a pity that pictures are displayed that are not correct. The pool has not been used since under new ownership, but the photos on trip.com made us believe it is an on-site facility. We had deliberately chosen a hotel with a swimming pool, but unfortunately that led to a disappointment.

This was a great hotel, right next to Verona airport. My wife and I with a 16 and 11 year old stayed a night to make an early flight the next day, the parking was great and easy. The hotel design was really nice and modern. Our room was amazing it had a seperate room with a double sofa bed for the kids, our room had a super king, with seperate rooms for basins, shower, bath and toilet. The main bath was big, it even had a large chandalier in it, it was that big. They had an abundance of bathing ammenities, everything you would only normally get in a high end hotel. A fully stocked complimentary mini bar with snacks, free mini bar. This has to be one of the best value hotels I've ever stayed at, it was fantastic. We used the onsite pizza/pasta restaurant which was again fantastic and so cheap, unbelievably cheap, again if the DB hotel people can deliver this level of experience at this price point then the Marriott's and the Hiltons of this world need to look out. We will absolutely be back, thank you so much DB Hotel Verona we will see you again.
