First time staying at the campsite... and you have to remember its a campsite. The downside was the ONE hour checkin after a tiring flight. Checkin overly complex with repeat paperwork, pass, wristbands, keys, deposit etc. The accommodation bungalow was very clean but very dated. The upside is that this is a beautiful location right on the lake which is breathtaking. The site feels very safe and very relaxed. Mixture of bungalows, chalets, campervans and even a hotel. Several restaurants, a bar, supermarket, pharmacy, vegetable shop, souvenir shop. The kids pool is a highlight with slides, lifeguards, ice cream, drinks pool side. Nightlights entertainment for the kids. Remember, it's a campsite. Transport very good via camp mini train to local village Pescheria, good bus service to Verona and taxi called from reception to Simione. Food and drinks are cheap enough with 8 - 11 euro for most meals. Drinks about 3.50 for a pint. Supermarket has mostly everything you need and Aldi is about 850 meters away. The campsite life takes a day or two to get used to but it's a much slower pace than busy Costa Del Sol experience. Very friendly and was getting busier as we were leaving so I could imagine being hectic in high Summer. Remember, it's a campsite. Highly recommend day trips esp if you have older kids who may become bored. No WiFi in my experience so make sure you have roaming plan. Finally, I would have stayed longer if I could but I would prefer better accommodation - but remember... its a campsite.
