Very comfortable, clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Good food and St. Austell beers. Most enjoyable. Accommodation is in separate building from the pub. It has its own garden shared with other hotel guests. There are parking spaces reserved for the hotel.

The service and food were up to usual excellent standard. On previous stays we have always had ground floor rooms which are quite spacious. This time on our move to a first floor room after two nights we found this very small and the bathroom was very, very poor with limited facilities. If we had been in this rom in the past it would have affected our decision to return.

Lovely impromptu evening with our little family. Often come to the Rosey and it doesn’t disappoint! Promptly welcomed and seated by Jacqui; who is always smiley, attentive and friendly. Served drinks very quickly- which were most welcome! 🍷 great food and atmosphere. Highly recommend! Really impressed that the steak was so reasonably priced!

We had an amazing nights sleep in a comfy bed, duvet and pillows. The room was warm without being uncomfortable and the shower, whilst a little small and powerless was perfectly suitable. Had an amazing meal in the evening and the best breakfast I have had in a small hotel.

An excellent Inn when in this area of Devon. The rooms are clean and well serviced and staff welcoming. A regular stop in Yealmpton now while in the South Hams. Some interesting food on the pub menu and a massive breakfast. Thanks to everyone for looking after me.

Wow what a beautiful room, we picked the king room with a lovely terrace. The bed was soo comfortable we slept so well we missed breakfast unfortunately. But if it was as good as the room it would have been outstanding. The location was stunning as was the restaurant . We will definetly be staying again. Thanks for having us

Our stay at The Rose and Crown was very comfortable. The room was clean and cosy and had everything we needed. The food at the pub was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

I came with a group of 23 in the function room for a Christmas lunch. All the food was delicious and presented to an exceptionally high standard, thank you to Charlotte and her kitchen team. We were looked after beautifully by Ruby! Will definitely be back

Stayed here before and as always it was excellent, nice rooms and food is amazing would highly recommend! Good size car park and breakfast was good too close to Plymouth so it wasn’t too far of a trek to get to site each day!
