Hotel RF Astoria - Adults Only

I had a lovely stay here. My studio had a hairdryer, toaster, kettle and microwave, it was spotlessly clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The bed was firm which I like and was a king size. The internet was very good in the room and I loved the location, just turn right and go down the steps and you are in the centre of the resort. I will definitely be back. I didn’t have a balcony but had 3 big windows. The roof terrace is lovely with nice clean toilets most days I was the 9n,y person there. As you can see from my photo the supermarket was just across the road. I bought small 200 cartons of milk which were great and kept in the fridge.

Excellent value for money. Spotlessly clean ( rooms were cleaned daily ). Very roomy and comfortable beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful and had good knowledge of resort. We weren't expecting such a roomy room. There was a dining table and chairs. Kitchen area was enough for small meals and teas and coffees. We were very impressed and would definitely go back.

We stayed here for 16 days over Christmas. Absolute gem of a hotel, staff are amazing too, especially Fabilio on the reception. Apt spacious, everything you need, very clean and comfortable, regular house keeping. Location is 10/10, huge Hypermarket around the corner. A nice pool area, and rooftop sun area. Breakfast is good enough to kick start the day. Although you have every facility in the apartment to make your own meals if you choose too. Close to restaurants, shops, beaches. First time in Puerto, we loved it, would definitely return and stay at the Astoria.

1st time ever for winter sun. Chose rf astoria and it was the best travel decision I've made for a long time. Everything was perfect so much so that on my second day there I booked exactly the same week for January 2025. The room was perfect immaculately clean and the kitchen was big enough and had enough equipment to make a roast dinner. Outdoor pool on level 2. Great location 5 minute walk to sea front. Special mention for 3 staff members. Rachel serving breakfast was fantastic. Breakfast had 3 options and there was plenty of Everything and if you wanted to interchange any of the 3 options Rachel was so accommodating. Faviola on reception was always happy and very helpful and informative. The night I arrived the young man on reception was so helpful and I wish I had got his name. The accommodation is also adult only. Perfect in every way. Can't wait to go back next year. Many thanks 😊

Stayed here with the easyjet package holiday. We Absolutely made the right choice. Fabulous location with everything you need within a short walk. This is a lovely small hotel with a small pool and a sun terrace. Perfect for couples. We really enjoyed taking a cup of coffee up onto the sun terrace, it was private and quiet. Breakfast is very good and plentiful with a great choice. All the staff were amazing, and our room was kept spotless for us. Do expect some noice from the Street below as you are right in the town, this never bothered us and we found it added interest peole watching from the balcony.

Just amazing - ALL staff are fabulous - we had the studio apartment and it was spotless, great location - lovely lovely special place for us - so much that we have booked again for next year ( Christmas) love from Sue & Ste - we stayed 15th Dec - 27th Dec 2023 - see you all soon xx

Lovely, clean and comfortable hotel. Spacious room with a fully equipped kitchenette and a balcony. Clean and nice pool. Staff very friendly and professional. Especially Esperanza at the reception was extremely helpful and nice. Great location. We didn't have food there so cannot comment.

Came home yesterday from a 7 night stay at the RF Astoria. Nice hotel, very clean, quiet and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is in a great location for access to the beach and shops and resteraunts and a supermarket close by. Breakfast was decent - you get 3 options each morning and pick what you want for the next day in advance. Although it's a fixed menu there is plenty of food. You get fruit and yogurt every day, and a bowl of small, fresh croissants then whatever you've chosen as your main which is continental (a baguette with 2 eggs and 2 slices of bacon. Sometimes we got cheese also). Spanish (an omlette) or Healthy (a seeded roll with mozerella cheese and ham). There is a good coffee machine and also cereal and orange / tropical juice available plus a water machine. The rooms were big and kept very clean. Maid service daily. The major downside for us is that the rooms were far too hot - the ceiling fan did next to nothing and walking into the room was like a sauna. After a couple of days we did ask reception and we got an extra plug in fan which was good but the room was still very hot. We had to sleep on top of the covers every night and as someone who always needs to be tucked up to sleep - this was awful but it was too hot for a duvet. The fans were fairly noisy but this didn't bother us at all, although it might be a consideration for others. Our room faced onto a street with lots of shops but noise wasn't an issue really - sometimes heard a street cleaner or something mumbling but we can both sleep through noise so maybe some more sensitive sleepers would struggle with this. The only thing that stopped us sleeping well was the heat (and the beds are quite hard memory foam so not very comfortable either.) There was no wind or sunlight got into our room either so drying clothes was difficult even though it was really hot. There is a pully above the bath that you can hang clothes on and a small balcony you can hang towels on. A proper drying rack would've been handy and there's plenty of space for it in the room. The kitchen facilities were good although we only used the kettle and the fridge. There is a supermarket about a minute away from the hotel so we bought bottles of water and stored them in the fridge. There is also a small freezer with an ice cube tray and we bought some ice lollies. The pool was usually quiet and generally quite shaded so nice area to relax in. For the price, you can't argue too much. The hotel is clean, the staff are nice, it's a relaxing atmosphere and the location is great. If the room wasn't hotter than hell then we would stay again but that alone would make us not want to come back sadly. However, it was exceptionally hot the week we were there (29-32 degrees celcius) so maybe under normal circumstances it wouldn't be so bad! In general also, Puerto De La Cruz is a lovely place. Very clean and good facilities. It is more of a locals place than tourists- a lot of places don't speak English a

We stayed here for the Carnaval, which is a unique experience by itself. The hotel is conveniently situated at 10-15 minutes walk from Plaza del Charco, around which most of the festivities take place. It is clean and has pleasant atmosphere. We enjoyed above all the breakfast and the hospitality of most of the people working there. Especially Raquel, serving us the breakfast, was very friendly and kind.
