The hotel stands out for the location and very family run hotel. Keep in mind for a 3 star hotel the rooms are small and outdated but for the price your getting a very good deal for PV compared to many places. The Taxi/Uber are available, the beach is walking distance, lots of amazing places to eat and shop, lots of night life and entertainment, and the buses are available for public transport anywhere in PV which i fou8nd to be the most convenient. Simply the location is the best ever and that is what your paying for the most in the price. The hotel staff cleans the room really well the the courtyard is pretty beautiful especially at night. The AC is so cold and well maintained that you wont be able to sleep on low setting. The staffs are very friendly and check-in and out was a breeze. Overall I am very happy with my stay here, next time ill be staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay. A bit loud on the weekends due to location. But great place, wonderful grounds.

We did our research before booking to stay at the Hotel Posada de Roger and were happy it lived up to the reviews. It is a budget hotel only in that rooms are simple and it doesn’t have all the amenities of a resort. It was impeccably clean with staff visibly always cleaning and available if needed. For travellers wanting to be right in the PV action you can’t find a better location. It’s courtyard is a quiet oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the busy street life. The pool, although small, is clean and refreshing. There is definitely noise at night from all of the local bars but for us it added to the ambience…and ear plugs are available at the front desk if it’s too loud for you. Highly recommend as a home base for those travellers who like to get out and explore the city. Great restaurants and food stalls nearby and 2 blocks from the beach.

We always stay here on our last night in Puerto Vallarta before going to the airport. It's very convenient and the staff are very friendly. I hope they are able to keep the price affordable.

A classic place in Puerto Vallarta that remains a classic after all these years. Highly recommend a stay at Posada Roger.

We had a wonderful time at Posada de Roger. It is a quiet, comfortable place to stay for good value.

Not as nice as photos showed on ******* Very old and worn . Not dirty but old -nothing has probably been touched or updated in 40 yrs. ******* had balcony in the room description . We didn’t have any balcony . Room was small . It was expensive for what it was . It had a cute lobby area with tables and staff were very friendly. Noisy due to location- but in a good location for walking.

The staff were great. Rooms need to be updated and the beds felt like I was sleeping on concrete. There were bugs crawling out of the sinks drain and a huge gap under the front door. I didn’t feel comfortable staying there so I ended up staying with one of my friends who had a 2 bedroom condo. So I coughed it up and lost the money I spent for the 8 days

They helped my son find his lost phone!!!! Gracias!!! Beautiful setting. Lots of terraces to enjoy the views. Great food just outside the door. Quiet enough considering it’s on a busy street

It has everything I wanted a pool close to everything. Cute room. Excellent bed. Very clean and friendly staff.

This hotel has great ambiance great staff great location! The beds could be upgraded as they were not comfortable pillows too. My VIP upgrade was just a very small bottle of wine :( that I could not drink

This is not what I expect from a 3 star hotel. The room was small and dark, the sheets and towels well-worn, the bed and pillow were uncomfortable. The courtyard and pool were fine but being in the room was depressing. It’s what I’d expect if I’d paid 1/3 of the rate I paid.

It's a very good location in the Zona Romantica but no elevator (we were on the third floor and my brother walks with a cane) and we never got our TV to work. Accommodations are very basic. No fridge or coffee maker.
