Easy to find just outside La Rochelle with plenty of free car parking. The staff are excellent, Cedric and Paula greeted us warmly, and Toni helped us in the restaurant. All 3 spoke very good English. As for the rooms, they were exactly what you would expect from a Campanile, large, clean and comfortable, but this was the first Campanile we have ever visited that does not have tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms.

The Campanile suited our purposes insofar as its situation. We were able to park the car safely and easily and take the bus into La Rochelle. We had a prob with the air conditioning which was promptly rectified/change of room and offer of one free breakfast. The room itself was spotlessly clean but a bit Spartan and the view from the window was poor.

Was given a disabled room when not requested. Shower gel dispenser on the floor as was stuck with double sided tape . Humidity on the ceiling of the bathroom. Hoke on the wall not covered. Requested a quiet room and was given one in front of reception… couldn’t be noisier if they tried!

Room was very clean. Nothing in the room not even a bottle of water or a kettle . Only a duvet - no option of a sheet in scorching weather. . Food was awful but service courteous but not over friendly!!

Nous rentrons dans une chambre glacée. Peut être 10 degrés. Chauffage qui ne chauffe pas. Pas d autre chambre chauffée à nous proposer un 8 janvier alors que nous avions retenu plusieurs jours auparavant. Un dîner catastrophique je dirai dégueulasse !!!! Mon mari a été malade la nuit . Vraiment nous sommes très déçus . HORRIBLE
