If you sunset or sunrise lover. De rimba not recommended to stay because the sun is sheltered from hills.The beach quite far from resort around 15-20 minute. You need rent a motorcycle. A few staff is friendly and some not really. The cleanliness quite good. The view is forest and village. Overall is okay if you want a budget resort.

Well, if you like calm down and far from crowded. This is good place for you.
But again . This is far from beach .
Walking distance to the beach is about 20 min.
Local food near Taraas hotel so nice. I forgot the resto name.

A budget hotel best for solo traveler. Within 15 mins walk, you can reach a beautiful beach where you can do snorkeling and see the turtles for free.
however, it's located in the local village area where there is not really many restaurants available and no entertainment at all at night.

Not the best "Resort" but not much choice on the island, it's a strategic place and has nive restaurants around it.
Note: the room doesn't look this Nice as it does in the photo.

I had a nice one night stay here. The staff were very helpful and assisted me in explaining how to get to the island from Marina Duyong and I was also able to buy my return ticket from reception which was helpful. In addition, they allowed me to pay for all meals through online transfer, which I was grateful for as I hadn’t brought cash. Travel to and from the resort to the jetty was available for an extra RM20. The food was good - I had the scrambled eggs, pancakes, Chinese fried rice and nasi goreng ayam. The room had everything I needed and was clean. There was a public beach around 10-15 minute walk from the resort and it was very quiet but stunning. I was a little bit unlucky with the weather as it rained more or less the entire time I was there apart from on the morning I left where I managed to grab some photos.

Just bit far from beach you have to take a truck goes up to the beach, if walking it's take a minute to go. Another beach if u want go to Laguna beach u have to take a boat for 10 min to arrived at that place.

The beach is 15 minutes away, but if you take a scooter, this is not a problem. The beach is amazing

The hotel is very good, close to the public beach and the town. We went in October and the restaurant is no longer open.
Towels must be rented and when you check out they will return the deposit of approximately €2.
