Overall, I think it's great value for money. It's very close to Taitung Pedestrian Street and the Beer Museum, just a few minutes' walk, and there are plenty of food options.
Facilities: The hotel is decent, and the standalone building by the roadside is quite appealing.
Hygiene: The hygiene is good.
Service: The front desk staff were very friendly and even gave gifts, although the security guard uncle was a bit stern.

The room comes with disposable bath and face towels; if you prefer cotton ones, you'll need to ask the front desk. The toilet and shower are separate, but the showerhead sprays water everywhere, and the glass is quite transparent, which was a bit awkward. The bed was very comfortable, but the wireless charger didn't work particularly well. The best part is its proximity to the Qingdao Beer Museum, it's very, very close, and there's a snack street right downstairs. The breakfast had a wide variety of options.

This trip with friends, the hotel we booked completely exceeded our expectations! The location is super convenient, with lots of great shops and restaurants nearby.
The hotel staff were all incredibly warm and welcoming. On the day we checked in, they sent detailed check-in instructions and thoughtfully recommended nearby eateries and sightseeing tips. The room was beautiful and exceptionally clean, the bedding was soft and odorless, so I slept very soundly at night. The bathroom had excellent wet and dry separation, hot water came out instantly, making for a very comfortable wash. The biggest surprise was a small outdoor table, though it was a shame the weather wasn't great these two days, so I couldn't properly relax there.
The value for money is truly excellent, making it perfect for both couples and groups of friends traveling together!

The room facilities were decent. The location is in an alleyway, so it's quiet at night. Parking is available in front of the hotel.
Nearby are the Beer Museum and brewery, which are very famous and attract many tourists.
It's not far from Taidong Pedestrian Street, which is worth a stroll in the evening, but it was just okay. Later, we took a taxi to the Haibo Road Dabao Island Commercial Pedestrian Street, which was beautiful, grand, and upscale.
Breakfast wasn't included in the hotel, so we ate at a nearby Tianjin-style steamed bun shop for breakfast.

The bedding quality was excellent, and the pillows were particularly comfortable and supportive, unlike the flimsy ones you often find in other hotels. The TV even had a membership, so you could watch whatever you wanted. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the toilet seat was heated.
The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and responsive to all our needs. Their WeChat Moments (customer service channel) was constantly updated with popular photo spots, saving us the trouble of searching them individually. The breakfast was rich in variety and incredibly delicious, catering to both northern and southern tastes. We always left full and ready to explore.
The hotel is close to Taidong Pedestrian Street, making it super convenient to grab snacks in the evening. The front desk also offered free black tea and wolfberry-jujube water to warm us up, and the mint candies were tasty too. If I come to Qingdao again, I would definitely stay here.

This B&B is really close to the subway, less than a five-minute walk to the front desk on the first floor. The B&B itself is in a building right across the street. The lady at the front desk was so nice; she even walked us to our room. When we opened the door, the kids were thrilled to see a slide! The upstairs room has a large bed and a tatami mat. There are bathrooms on both floors, plus a washing machine and a clothes drying rack. From the B&B, you can see the Qingdao Beer Factory next door, and it's super convenient to get to Taitung Snack Street and Yingkou Seafood Market. Definitely recommend!

Two small issues: all the TV channels are in Chinese. The internet connection requires a Chinese phone number (the staff was kind enough to solve it).
The location is hard to reach by car. Once you know it, it's very convenient.

AAnonymous UserFacilities: The hotel is new, and the equipment is all new. You have to swipe your elevator card to get to your floor, but the room smelled like renovations, and the windows were left open the entire time we stayed, so the smell persisted. The restaurant was adequate, but the air conditioning wasn't very effective, and I kept sweating while eating. The laundry room on the first floor was very helpful.
Cleanliness: The room was clean, and housekeeping was always available. Breakfast cleanliness could be improved, for example, there were foreign objects in the food.
Environment: There's a commercial area downstairs, making it convenient for dining. The subway is a 10-minute walk away.
Service: Room service was good. Restaurant service was acceptable, and any issues were addressed promptly. The front desk staff were friendly during check-in, but were unprofessional and formal during check-out. I always stay at Hilton hotels and trust their professionalism, but this time, my experience was less than positive.

KKenBarbie1337If you are getting off near West Qingdao station, this is your hotel to go. It was the best hotel I stayed in Qingdao. Huge spacious very clean high-tech room, polite staff, good service. The hotel felt like it was totally new and it was the biggest room I stayed for a cheap price during my stay in Qingdao. If you need a place around West Qingdao station, this is your hotel to go.

The first room we were checked-in had a broken window that couldn’t be opened and the reception didn’t know about it, although the window was closed with a tape and they should have known that this room had a problem. There were not many guests in the hotel and plenty of rooms to be offered.
In the next room we found out that the show was out of hot water. The problem was with the central supply system and instead of repairing it themselves, the hotel engineer was coming to our room claiming that we should discharge water for 5-10 minutes before hot water starts coming out. This kept going for almost an hour, we were tired and wanted to sleep because it was late evening. The problem didn’t require our assistance because the problem was with the whole hot water supply system, not with our exact room.
Also, they brought us a small heater to the room which I was surprised about, but then I understood that it was because the air-conditioner which had a heater mode, didn’t work well. I doubt that the hotel would have enough heaters for all rooms in case they had more guests. Without the heater it was quite cold in the room.
Next morning the house keeper came at 9-30 am!!!Which is insane. We were sleeping. I’ve never encountered a hotel at which the house keeper came that early and disturbed the guests.
Finally when leaving the hotel, we wanted to take those one-time use sleepers with us to use during the flight and found out to our surprise, that for 4 days we were living in the hotel sleepers were not changed even once. I called the reception, it was early morning (like 6-30 am) and they told me that the house keeper will bring us the sleepers when she comes to work. I told that we were leaving already and the reception promised to bring the sleepers asap. 10 minutes later nobody came and we went to check-out. At the check-out I asked for the sleepers again and told the receptionist that the taxi has almost arrived, so that she could bring us the sleepers first and then proceed with the check-out. She didn’t listen to me, still first processed the check-out and only after it went for the sleepers. So it basically took me half an hour and my nerves to get the sleepers that were supposed to be in my room from the very beginning.
The general manager talked to us after the case with the hot water and the house keeper coming early in the morning. He was very polite, but this doesn’t eliminate the fact that basic services in this hotel leave much to be desired.
On the plus side, very comfortable beds and clean spacious room.

AAnonymous UserFirst off, the location is excellent, right across from City Hall and directly facing May Fourth Square.
Secondly, on the way from the front desk to the elevator, there are two sets of stairs. One has a ramp, which is convenient for luggage, but the other is just stairs, meaning you have to carry your bags. Stepping out of the elevator into the hallway leading to our room, there was a strong smell of smoke and the carpet was visibly dirty. Once inside the room, we found a hair on the toilet seat and another under the rim of the drinking glass. There was also a torn corner of a small wrapper under the curtain. In one of the corners on the way from the elevator to the room, there was a PV mat placed by the greenery, and it hadn't been moved for at least three days of our three-night stay.
Thirdly, the room only had standard two and three-pin power outlets, with no USB charging ports, which are so commonly found these days. In the shower, there was only a tiny shelf for toiletries, but it was far too small, and everything kept falling off. Another thing that puzzled me was that an emergency pull cord system was installed, but the cord itself was missing. Why bother installing it then?
Finally, the most appalling thing was that last night, past 11 PM, a jackhammer started, along with hammering, sounding like it was right above our heads. We tried calling the front desk first, but the line was constantly busy. Luckily, the hotel's WeChat corporate account, which we had previously added, was still responsive. They coordinated a solution, and the noise stopped in about half an hour, which was quite efficient. But then, to make matters worse, this morning, between 8 and 9 AM, the jackhammer started up again. While they did send a gift package as compensation, dealing with this kind of situation during a hotel stay is truly infuriating!

GGuest UserFinding it was really difficult. Yes, I had the ”Map” provided by the hotel. Yes, I read it. It didn't help.
I asked some airport staff (and showed THEM the map in Chinese and they couldn't help, either)
The ”VIP building” IS the one you can see when you step outside. But you don't have to. There is a corridor on floor 4, it's just really well-hidden.
And there are NO signs saying where it is.
The room was almost very good. Almost.
There was a different key card in when I entered, which confused me and prevented turning on the lights.
And, one of the lamps didn't work. The main one...
Then I tried using the hair drier. Stopped it after 1 minute. Tried turning it on again, and it wouldn't. IDK why.
The staff also barely speak English at all. I'm not looking for fluent native level, but just basic understanding. And it still wasn't good.
