Rooms were nice, good space and comfortable. View from the pool is great, and green surroundings makes common for animals to come around. We were enjoying a coffee by the pool when a cute titi (squirrel monkey) came to join us!! They have coffee, tea and chocolate available 24/7 for guests. It’s pet friendly, too!
My boyfriend was very happy with the service, all staff were very kind and helpful

Wonderful people in every role. It is a super convenient location and the restaurant is truly a hidden gem. Went through the whole menu and it's all delicious.

This is the greatest place I have ever stayed! I am overjoyed to think about returning one day. Best food ( don’t bother going to other restaurants bc the best cooking is right under your nose). Andre will treat you like a rockstar ( he’s awesome). Jesus and Favi are both like family. I can’t say enough good about this place. The only bad thing was checking out!

I've been staying here for over 19 years. Andre's father passed away in May 2 years ago. And Andre's taken over the hotel. Done an outstanding job with it. I'm going to continue to stay in here as long as I'm able to travel. Some of the same girls have still been here Rosie etc. The food's great. And it's a reasonable hotel with excellent service.

Great staff, very friendly..great restaurant..breakfast included was exceptional..and excellent coffee.. restaurant for dinner was excellent and prices were very reasonable..

My room was at the end of the building, somewhat adjoining a neighboring . The dogs at that property barked every night into the wee hours of the morning. I did not get much sleep.

Super cute property. Our villa was great for our family of 5 adults. The mixologist Fabi was absolutely amazing. Some of the best cocktails I've had. Staff was very friendly. Good location.

A truly fantastic place to stay! The staff could not be more warm and friendly, always ready to help and service with a smile. Air conditioned rooms are cleaned daily, and each room has a balcony with a hammock! Great breakfasts and a very creative master bartender (Fabiano!) Shout out to Steven, Annika and Valentina for excellent service. Short bus ride to downtown Quepos. Highly recommended!

The road going into the property is steep and extremely bumpy. The bedrooms are large but very outdated. Curtains were from the 70s , bedsheets wouldn’t stay on the bed as they were too big and pillows were lumpy. When we arrived the lady who registered us said “the boys behind the bar live getting people drunk”. Which was a turn off and gave me the creeps. The breakfast staff were great tho and so was the breakfast. .Pool was old and has tiles missing out of it. Pool chairs were made of PVC pipe. The best part about this place is the amount of monkeys that are in the property. Also they have a large dog on the property that has muzzle on him for the day. Which is a bit uncomfortable as well. Reception said “don’t touch him as he is grumpy”. .

We returned to Tres Banderas for the first time in many years and were very pleasantly surprised by the restaurant and bar. Both are expanded and improved with friendly, multi-lingual staff. The dinners in particular were lovely. I recommend the beef tenderloin with mushroom sauce and the Blue Ocean tuna. Yum!

Really nice family friendly hotel about 10 minutes drive from Manuel Antonio National Park. Rooms are spacious and comfortable ( even for our family of 5). Nice deep swimming pool to cool off, and a very good restaurant with lots of choice. Staff are super friendly and were great with our young kids. Would certainly recommend.

I've been staying here a long time. A new Andy the owner. I watched Andre grow up. He's taking over for his father. He's done a good job. Couple of odds and ends need to be addressed but nothing major. I'll continue to stay here as long as I can. The girls are great food's good and it's convenient.

I came with my two small dogs and the owners dog tried to attack us twice when wen checked in. The owner is an young inexperienced millenial Tico. Very disrespectful. Said he would keep his dog in the house. Before I could get to my room....the dog pushed me down and mauled me. His dog is "not dangeros" but he wears a muzzle. Large Akida. The owner was apologetic the first night and gave me an amazing cocktail. In the morning, I saw the dog arttack two other dogs. I told him my back and knees were hurt and he said, "I serioulsy doubt you were hurt and you need to research the nature of Akida dogs" I explained if you have a business I don't need to research your dog or my safety. This is unsafe and unreasonable. He was super disrespectul and refunded my next night stay. I am sure he will be disresectful in a response and in real life but I am a very positie person. Read my reviews. The drinks and food were great. Service good but this situation is out of control. Dangerous an bad business. The dog has. muzzle and has attacked before. The rooms are outdated ans beds ar horrible!
