Reasonable but bathroom (shower) fittings broken which meant shower worked but not the fittings (plugs etc). Don't mention vegetarianism - they cannot handle that. Also the so called restaurants nearby were either closed or again unsuitable for vegetarians and looked run down anyway. Motorway adjacent so traffic none stop all night (except 1st May when silent!). Restaurant 'LEON' exceptionally good fish restaurant at 250 meters opposite hote.

Stayed here as we were visiting Oradour sur Glane. Was feeling hopeful before arrival as we received an email saying our room was ready and we were invited to enjoy food and drink at the hotel. On arrival the front desk agent was on the phone. Two other staff by embers could be heard laughing and chatting in back office. One came out and said hello but went back to office again. The girl that checked us in seemed quite timid. Conversation was minimal. Room was ok, very hot. I was delighted to see we had a bath so after walking miles around France and Spain for the last month, thought I would treat myself to a bath. No plug however. My husband went down and spoke to all three staff members who discussed our request for a plug. One said she would bring one up in 10 mins. I sat half naked for forty minutes. Nobody came with a plug, or to say they couldn’t find one. Whilst sat waiting I found two fingernails on the floor down the side of the bed. Anyway had a shower instead. Needed some water so my husband went down to see if any vending machines. Two of the staff members were sat having a drink together in bar. No mention of the plug and didn’t ask if he needed any help either. Bedroom doors slam so if you get a neighbour like ours who likes to go in and out every five minutes after midnight you won’t get any sleep. On check out I was faced with a young man, yawning and stretching who looked like he had just woken up. Staff have no interest here. Definitely would not return

Poor customer service. Compared to other Ibis hotels and Ibis budget, this one is very poor indeed. No atmosphere. Staff not interested in guest experience. Fingernails found on carpet in bedroom. No plug for the bath. Doors slam even when trying to close carefully. Woken at 7.30 by loud humming noise and vibration. Possibly kitchen ventilation. Rooms are very hot. Young man on front desk at check out had to speak through his yawning. Looked scruffy and as if he had just woken up. Was only an overnight stay but I wouldn’t bother going back if I was in the area again. The place is soulless. Plus side, there’s a free car park. I’d try a nearby hotel.

It is a good hotel all be it basic but that's in the name 😁. The rooms are very small but practical for a travel stop. But wouldn't stay more than a night but great value for money.

Stayed two nights on a Leger Tour. Hotel is on an industrial/retail area outside Limoges facing a busy autoroute, although there was no internal noise when the windows were shut. The hotel is pretty nondescript and could do with a good freshen up throughout. There is only one small lift and when we were there the stair carpet was in a bad condition with loose pieces of carpet on every step. Our room was very small and in some need of decoration. One of our twin beds was right up against the wall and there was still little room to move around. Shower was ok. Note that hotel policy is that rooms are not serviced during a stay unless requested. There is a restaurant but only open intermittently apparently. Breakfast buffet was standard continental – there was hot scrambled eggs available but they were cold on our visit. There are some restaurants around – we tried the Leon fish restaurant up the road which was very good indeed. Overall not very good. Location is poor, facilities are basic, atmosphere is non-existent and the surrounding area is pretty run down.

We stayed here as part of a group and it was very disappointing Small rooms, awful out of town location and unhelpful reception staff who knew very little about anything. Couldn't give any idea of how much a taxi to town might cost, and failed to suggest the local bus, which was actually ideal. Catering staff at breakfast were very nice and the food adequate. Evening menu very unappetizing so we went elsewhere There was a carpark, if you need one, but that seemed to be the only good feature Generally, look elsewhere and dont stay here

Hotel facilities bar and restaurant. There was no restaurant. Advised by staff that there were snacks only, but only 3, Croque Monsieur, chicken burgerb and Piza. So went out to eat. On return at 2130 bar was closed. Other clients were also very annoyed. On the walls of dining area there wss a drinks and cocktails menu. On the other wall was a large menu for the restaurant.

On arrival the staff were very pleasant the room was the standard Ibis which was in need of some renovation we had requested a quite room after eating at a local restaurant which was not at all good we headed back had a drink went to bed around 11 pm after 1 hour there was shouting constantly from below our room sounded like a man on a phone and I called reception to complain who was indifferent and it was 15 mins before it stopped, she said that they cannot control what the guests do?.03.45 wheels bins were being moved around doors banging pots banging all sorts of noises from what I can only assume it was the kitchen staff which went on for over 1 hour. So much for my quite room and in the morning I brought it to the attention of the lady who could not care so if you do stay be at you own risk Maybe I was unlucky but I would not recommend this one unlike my Abbeville stay which was so much better, in fact over the years I think this one is my only bad review of an Ibis Hotel
