Relais Casa Orter is a converted 18th-century countryside mansion set in Risano, 8.1 mi from Udine. It features a gourmet restaurant, a large garden with hundred-year-old live oaks. Great gourmet restaurant and Hotel with cosy atmosphere. My daughter and I were very warmly welcomed by the owner. The service was very friendly and courteous. The wine was perfectly matched with the food. The Chef Roberto cooks very very delicious, refined, classic and surprising. What a great experience!!! Thank you soooo much, we will be back!

Very nice place, smaller individual Hotel with big rooms, great comfortable beds. Highlight is very friendly owners and we enjoyed a nearly private great Dinner, even officially the Restaurant was closed!

Nice place, nothing to say. It probably still has room for improvement, but it feels really good. The restaurant is very "refined", it is an experience to try it. The room is good, the breakfast too. The owner is a kind and helpful person, which is not a given in these times. Thanks for your stay and well done everyone!

This is the rating for the restaurant! We stayed here for 4 nights and ate here (unfortunately only once). We had the surprise menu with Vienna accompaniment, every course was a dream, the filet was a bit too well done (here you should have asked how the guest would like it - if I had known that it was on the menu, I would have something of my own accord said), the wine accompaniment was very well coordinated. The whole place is very atmospheric and stylish, perfect service. And at the end of the evening the owners (she plays Harve, he piano) played a few pieces of music - just a dream!! Anytime again, on weekends make sure to reserve a few days in advance, it pays off.

The relais is located in a town in Friuli a little away from the big centers and therefore very quiet and easily accessible. It is immersed in a park with suggestive trees with very large foliage.
