Syriah went over and above for my husband, myself and my friend, she total made us welcome, the cabins where perfect, clean and fully self contained, the facilities where clean and equiped with microwave, kettles, toasters and lovely clean fridges, we soaked in the pool and both spa's, they had two spa's with one being Luke warm and one lovely and hot, totally recommend this lovely motor camp Thank you

Renovated inside the unit but not well insulated. We were cold during our stay and couldn’t get the unit to heat up. The windows and walls are not well insulated. The cold air easily came through the windows and you could easily hear the neighbors. For the price of the place, I expected something quieter and warmer. Would not stay there again.

The hotel used to be a private mansion with every detail. The hotel is facing Lake Rotorua, the room has a wide view, five minutes drive from the skyline and ten minutes from the downtown. The hotel has its own paddock, where horses and sheep graze leisurely on the slopes. Breakfast can be cooked to order, and the lamb in the kiwi breakfast is very good. It was very comfortable to take a walk in the courtyard after eating breakfast. The hotel staff was warm and considerate. Some regrets were that because of the self-service on the skyline, I didn't try the dinner at the hotel. I have a chance to try it next time. There is a study room on the second floor of the hotel. There is a 200-page world map on the table. It has been turned over and confirmed that there is no less in China.

Positives: Lovely staff Clean, tidy and comfortable room Fully equipped kitchen Big fridge Private spa Free unlimited WiFi/internet Good shower Washing machine and dryer Comfortable bed Split system air conditioner Private free on-site parking Negatives: Whilst the TV was large, it was an old plasma model that could not display gradients of dark colours and the picture was distorted (dark blocks) Blackout curtains however light leakage which my husband was not a fan of since he likes complete darkness while sleeping

A very clean hotel with a very welcoming front desk, which made us feel at home in a foreign country. Facilities: Very stylish Hygiene: clean nice environment Service: warm The location is very good. I will stay here again next time. Recommended to everyone.

From the email exchanges in advance, right through to the farewells at the doorstep we couldn't have asked for more thoughtful and charming hosts. We had made an advance request for single beds and on arrival were even offered a choice of rooms. The one we chose was by the pool, quiet, and extremely well appointed with comfy beds and good amenities. Our ”continental” breakfast was beautifully presented with attention to detail. A housekeeping issue was efficiently dealt with, with apologies that it had occurred. We loved our choice of a place away from the town and found Hamurana Lodge and our stay everything we could have hoped for. The alpacas and rabbits were a bonus! Thank you Rebecca and Joe.

Children are not allowed, only 16 years old and above can be accommodated! Suitable for honeymoon couples! In New Zealand, don't think about breaking the rules of soft grinding and hard foaming. It is a rule not to allow children under the age of 16 to stay!
