The chateau was very unique, kept in a timeless capsule. The pool and outside area would have been lovely if we had the weather, but saying that our children still got in the pool and enjoyed it. The pool was smaller than the pictures suggested but as no one was in it, it didn’t cause a problem. The first night we ate in the restaurant, which was beautiful, the food was amazing and great valve for money. The children’s menu was good value €12 for beef or fish with a pudding, our children really enjoyed it. I am vegetarian and there was a good offering on the menu, the cheese was exceptional. Lots of lovely wines to choose from and Kensal spoke very good English, he was so helpful advising on food and wine. We had two room due to the size of our family, but these weren’t interconnected. The WiFi was great and there was lot of games you could play in the drawing room. The rooms were comfortably, the shower head in the showers were massive, so don’t turn it on until you are in the shower with the door closed.
