Motel One Salzburg-Mirabell Reviews

The accommodation is right in front of the Salz River and the view is so pretty ㅜㅜㅜㅜ!!!! One thing that was disappointing was that the price was too expensive, probably because it was a festival period. Still, I’m satisfied!!

Fantastic hotel, and it's in a great location, close to the old town and just a 10 minute walk to the train station, Staff was very helpful, room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable, I will definitely be staying here again when I next visit salzburg.

It is what the name suggest - not really a hotel. Perfect for an overnight stay but not for longer. The room is as tiny as possible. Therefore there is no room for a wardrobe except a tiny alcove in the corner of the bed. The lobby is a long corridor with trendy seating which is very cosy for a drink in the evening. The problem is, this is also the breakfast area which is totally inadequate in my opinion and heavily overcrouded. It can't handle more than 2 people at once to grab some cold sausage or vegetables and you won't find any warm food like scrambled eggs at all. Besides that the location is good, the staff friendly and the bed cosy.

This is a lovely hotel about20 mins walk down the river from to old town. We were lucky and had a fab view of the river from our room.

Pleasant hotel overlooking the river in central Salzburg and only a 5 minute walk from the railway station. Room was comfortable. No tea / coffee making facilities were provided in the room which was disappointing and unusual when compared to what other hotels provide. Small paper cups were only available for drinking water.

My husband and I stayed here for one night before embarking on Salzburg’s Sound of Music tour. The location was good - walking distance to many places. There was free overnight street parking which we appreciated. Our only complaint would be we wish the bathroom had a fan - super steamy!

fine hotel. exceeded expectations. nice breakfast--not elaborate but certainly enough to get the day going. location about 15 min walk from old town but it is along river so very pretty walk. close to Mirabel garden (see end of Do Re Mi song in Sound of Music). good price as we needed 3 rooms to accommodate our party.

First time staying in a Motel One branded hotel and it was such a good experience we will be looking out for this brand in other cities we visit in future. Great value for money. Clean and comfortable and fantastic location. Quiet and slept very well. Lovely design features and vibe in common areas. Eco conscious. Great bar drinks and snacks in evening and great breakfast in the morning. Friendly staff. Really had no complaints at all which is rare.

Room needs two glasses and additional counter space and luggage racks.
