We were among the last guests before the 2nd closing wave came. The reception was super nice and fun, the room was very large, though inpersonally furnished. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a large selection, although there were only 3 guests. We even got bags to pack everything possible, as the rest was otherwise thrown away because of the closure. Great gesture! We would certainly go back to this hotel, it is not the most beautiful of the rooms, but price performance is definitely perfect!

We stayed here in March for two nights. Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is located in the city center. There are a lot of restaurants just across the street. The room is relatively newly updated (we stayed in a room called apartment). There is a water boiler with tea and coffee. The minibar has a lot of beverages and beers (need to pay). The bathroom is large and looks modern. There is one elevator for the whole hotel, but the waiting time is reasonable. There is an underground parking (Euro 14 per day), although the space is a little bit tight and the entrance is very narrow. The breakfast selections are good. There is a small exercise room at the top floor. The staffs are very helpful. One of the best hotel in Braunschweig.

We arrived yesterday, and the hotel has met and exceeded our expectations. First, the staff are amazing. Polite, freindly, well informed and good English. We were given a map and shown the best routes to various sites. The recommended restaurant was excellent amd am experience in itself. 5 stars to all! Secondly, the room met our needs perfectly, with a bedroom on the upper level and the sofa bed set up and ready for the second sleeper. The beds, pilliw and linens were very comfy. The balcony with table and chairs was an added bonus. Thirdly, the elegant and modern bathroom was top notch, from the toilet paper to the makeup mirror. The shower had good pressure, enough hot water and plenty of towels, I am now enjoying a very, very delicious latte and juice on the sunny terrace, as I decide on the breakfast choices from the buffet. Highly recommended and very glad we are booked for a second night!

The facility was very clean and beautifully furnished. However, according to pictures, we had booked another room. The current room was not worth the price of almost 160 euros. We had problems with heating or air conditioning. Unfortunately, the radio in the bathroom has not worked too. The breakfast was very amazing. A lot of choice and I think for everyone there. The parking is not included in the price (10€ per night) and parking facilities are available outside with about 5 walk minutes. I think this hotel is only good for business travel. Otherwise the bed is very comfortable and the place in the Room is sufficient. Unfortunately, there is no refrigerator available in the room.

In March 1945 the historical medieval town was flattened in 17 minutes by 227 Harris’ Lancaster bombers. 1,645 people died. The Parkhotel was built in 1994 and offers 78 rooms over 5 floors. Staffs are friendly and welcoming. Our room was relatively small but tastefully furnished and decorated with desk & chair, flat-screen TV on the wall & wardrobe. We had a good twin bed, and a separate bathroom with toilet, washroom & shower. All was very clean. Complimentary mineral water, but no coffee & tea facility. The area is very quiet. The window can be open but has no mosquito screen. Free Wi-Fi Internet and parking. The sauna facility is small but adequate. The buffet breakfast is excellent with ample variety: eggs made to offer, cold cuts, bread and rolls, juices, cereals, fruit, milk, yoghurt, fruit juice, tea & coffee. The atmosphere in the Berghölzchen hotel is modern and we had a nice stay. Recommended.

Beautiful hotel within walking distance to Centrum; we were able to park in garage across street for discounted rate of 7 euro/24 hours. The room was totally renovated, with new ”wood” vinyl plank floors, king bed/mattress, but still had 16 foot ceilings (made me wonder what it looked like 20 years ago); elegant staircase going up, but there is also an elevator. Mini fridge had everything you wanted, but we were also able to take out beers on top shelf and put in a bottle of our wine. We brought our doxie along, and the hotel is very pet-friendly. I am glad we stayed here v. Best Western (which is in a bit of a ”seedy area”). The breakfast was delicious which included hot scrambled eggs...can't say enough about the hotel.
