Proteas Blu Resort

Let's start from the good - as almost everyone mentions, the service is (mostly) great. The beach area is great as well. Resort is quiet and nice, Breakfast is ok+. And now let's talk about the weak spo of this hotels - the rooms! The bathroom is like from a 2-start hotel in india, not maintained, shower holder rusted, a lot of scale/limescale. Overflooding after a shower - all the floor was wet, so you couldn't go to a toilet. Another issue - our bed was so.. bad! It had a large curvature in the mattress, and the mattress itself of a very lower quality = prepare for a bad sleep if you have a problematic back (like me). I've reflected all the room problems to hotel's staff, but they refused to provide me a better/normal room, so here is for this hotel's ”wonderful” service. A rental car or taxi is necessary if you want to eat outside the hotel. The next town is 30 minutes away on foot, but there is no walk there. You move along the side of the road. This is definitely not a 5 star hotel, more like 4 if you don't take a room into account, 3 or less if you do. I've visited many countries (and hotels) in my life, many of them are 5*, and I can say with confidence - a hotel that provides such a room, can't classify itself as a 5* hotel. Unfortunately, due to all these unpleasant circumstances, in case you're truly seeking for a 5* experience, I can't recommend this hotel.
Ino Village Hotel

We stayed at the Ino Village hotel for two weeks and enjoyed it very much. The hotel itself, the rooms, the food, the staff, everything was just perfect! The hotel is located out of Samos town on a hill with wonderful views to Samos bay. It has a private parking that is very convenient as the most guests arrive by car. To reach Samos town car is a must as there are no pedestrian paths and the road leading to the town is always busy with traffic. Also you need a car to go to the beaches if you like sea more than a pool. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. The balcony was nice, with chairs, table and with beautiful view to the Samos bay. Unfortunately we almost did not use it as there were very hot days in Samos. The breakfast was very good. There was a choice of pies, cheese, ham, fruits, vegetables, etc. The staff were very friendly and kind, ready to help you at any time. However WI FI connection and water supply in the bathroom could be better. Definitely coming back next time.

I chose this hotel because of the breakfast and sunbeds at the pictures of ***********. When we arrived we learnt that hotel doesn’t have sunbeds anymore, there’s a misleading information at the ***********!!! Also there’s smell of sewage. Room is old, bottom of the bathroom sink is damaged. There were no soap in the room when we arrived. I’m really disappointed by this hotel and *********** for misleading info about this hotel. Moreover the clothing rack for bathing suits is broken. It’s a shame this hotel is being still advertised. Breakfast was awful. No smiling faces at the reception. Although I warned *********** of misleading information about sunbeds at their website on August 28, they're still keeping those photos as of today(September 7, 2023). I wrote hotel's condition while we were there but they replied ”no compensation could be provided”. I didn't ask for compensation!!! I wrote about misleading information. They turned blind eye.
