Old hotel room with small TV, but the cable and apps were OK. You gotta get to breakfast early before construction people finish the food. It is also next to a police station, so if you are planning to commit a crime you might wanna skip this one (I wish I had a better advice for you). Parking is $5 a day which was unexpected for a property like this.

Some good and bad things but ultimately the good isn’t enough to bring me back to this property. The good: Front desk staff is amazing, super nice and accommodating. Good pool area and nice grill option with ability to borrow grill tools amongst other things. Bed is comfortable enough. The bad: No pool towels as described in Bonvoy app. No extra pillows and the ones they do have need to be replaced, Very flat and uncomfortable. WiFi not working. Ac not cooling properly. Weird smell in room. Rooms are pretty small, no walking room around beds. TVs are very small, even for the small room. Breakfast was extremely limited, just eggs and sausage made it a “hot breakfast” but I’d consider it more of a continental breakfast at best. As other reviews mentioned, no cream cheese but i realized they do have some just Don’t take it out because someone asked after I was told they were out and there was some for them. Ran out of milk options as well. Only 1 juice working in their juice machine. Disappointing breakfast overall. Only 1 elevator working on property.

This is a propety in transition. We stayed here for almost two weeks. It is serviceable however, not what I expect from a Marriott property. Many things are broken and are not getting fixed. The first room we had the toilet paper dispenser fell off as it was not attached, there was mold in the shower, the microwave door did not close securely, the AC sounded like a jet engine, the silverware complement was a knife and one fork, etc. This is not what you expect. We were able to move to another room and it is better but still substandard - drawers do not close all the way, had to have a crusty showerhead replaced, had a housekeeper walk in on us when we clearly had the do not disturb sign on the door, etc. When the problems were brought to the attention of management the explanation for the housekeeper was she does not speak english. That is an excuse, NOT an answer. The showerhead was replaced quickly and that is appreciated. I was told we would be getting compensation for the problems. A week later NOTHING. So, I contacted Marriott Bonvoy an opened a case. Still waiting to hear something. We are new to Marriott (been Hilton customers for years) if this is ot resolved I do not see much future in being a Marriott client. I was told by the front desk that the previous owner did not care about this property. I believe it: 3 out of 4 dryers are broken, 1 out of 2 washers is broken, no printers available in the "business center", 1 out of 2 elevators broke, minimal breakfast unless you love eggs and a meat everyday. For some reason the waffle maker disappeared, no muffins available unless you ask, no cream cheese for the limited bagels. These all seem small but when taken together speak volumes. If you want to stay at a Marriott in San Antonio there may be a good one however, I would not come here until major improvements are made.

Visited San Antonio with my son to see the town and ride the coasters at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. This location was located in a perfect spot for the trip! I had requested a deep-cleaning for the room prior to our arrival due to my son's allergies and, while this property is a bit dated, the room was positively spotless! The staff was friendly and attentive, our stay couldn't have been any better!

Our accommodations were canceled last minute, but Marriott came through for us! Clean, well-appointed rooms, comfy clean beds, kitchenettes, and a lovely pool. The best was how welcoming the staff was to our family. We were visiting from NJ for our mother's 90th birthday celebration/family reunion, and our previous reservations at another property were canceled 2 hours after we were supposed to check in. Thankfully, I have platinum elite status, but on such short notice we weren't sure we could find anything for our 9 day stay. Marriott not only had lovely accommodations for us, but they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Our visit was planned so we could spend time with our grandkids and the pool was a lovely way to beat the Texas heat! They not only made us feel at home, but they were also very kind to our family when they came to visit us. We will definitely return knowing we will be treated like family.

Coinvent location with great staff, the people here are so friendly and accommodating. The service was top notch one of my favorite places to stay in San Antonio. A very quiet place to stay with a variety of items for breakfast.

Very caring and professional staff, the hotel is very clean, breakfast was a nice selection of items, and the room was very quiet and cleaned very nicely. The pool area was one of our favorites, I will be returning soon.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Townplace Suites Marriott. We were looking for budget friendly hotel that we could spend the weekend in SA. Our room was clean and neat. Front desk was friendly and provided fast service! It was a great stay! Thank you!

Could be better in quality renovation needed clearly but staff was great. Room need update but clean brenda was really nice as well as Norma. Check in was smooth and fast no issues. No waffles in breakfast area which was weird

The room was very clean the front desk were friendly and helpful managers were very nice it was an all around great experience. I will be coming back to stay when I’m in the area again.thank you guys.

Stayed three nights here. Comfortable bed, friendly staff. Place is definitely tired and dated, felt grubby in the room. Cutlery mismatched and dirty, dishwashing powder only provided for one use (none replaced). Waste master broken. Pool padlocked closed and no signage as to why despite weather being in the 90’s. Breakfast very average and so only had one out of three mornings. When sitting in rear courtyard was approached by a man who had walked around the property through the carpark asking for money. Object to paying $3.75 a day for a carpark that’s not secure and in the suburbs. Why? Hotel in a very busy area on a high traffic junction. Not pleasant to walk in the area. About a 15 min drive in good traffic to downtown San Antonio. Would likely choose somewhere else in the future as a Platinum member

This place is disgusting! The breakfast staff is rude, housekeeping is horrible, the mattress didn’t have protective covers on and was badly stained so we went to the front desk to ask for one but was told they didn’t have any. There was hair in our sink and tub, crunchy spots on the carpet, garbage in our trash can, spilled beer on the floor, filthy lobby and guest bathrooms. The pool was hazy and we’re pretty positive it was being used by people other than guests. We are definitely taking this place off our list for stays and warning all our friends and co-workers to stay away.

It's a slightly older property but very typical for a TownePlace Suites. Super sweet staff that seemed genuinely interested in guests comfort. The pool was nicer than I expected and there is a large outdoor area that's shaded where you can just sit and relax. I travel to the area on business regularly and this will be my go to hotel for convenience.
