The staff is amazing, not the greatest in cleanliness mostly due to excess moisture from poor ventilation which causes mold in areas housekeeping doesn’t consider. The linens are less to be desired.
But hands down the staff and the price will have you consider it again and again!

Budget hotels in the United States are not soundproofed and don't provide slippers, toothbrushes, kettles, etc. You can only check in at 3pm, and the waiters are quite nice.

The Riverleaf may not be a 5⭐️ place, but Raul and his staff are all 5⭐️ in every way. My reservation got mixed up, and the woman on duty that night fixed things for me till the manager (Raul) arrived in the AM. He came in and fixed my entire reservation, and even knocked a little off the rate for the inconvenience. Also San Diego had heavy rain and flooding, and they offered everyone a full reimbursement if they wanted to leave and not get flooded in! Awesome!!!

Hotel by far is one of the nicest places for the rate the rooms may be a little dated but they're all very very clean everything is sanitary the beds are made nice the towels are fresh and the property is safe and well guarded your car is safe the neighborhood is just fine for the price of these motels this is the best one I've ever seen that it beats Motel 6 by far hella beat some of the nice ones I've stayed out as far as the staff goes the staff here is very courteous friendly very professional always willing to help and make and they always have a smile on their face I felt very comfortable here and I felt well I would definitely say stay here

In this case I was put at this property due to my other reservation being moved due to flooding. As I entered the unit, i automatically noticed a bad odor not sure if it was a mix of humidity and smoke but it definitely should be looked at. We were also only given two small pillows and one thin sheet with a small, thin knitted blanket. Very clean but definitely needs some upgrades, definitely would not return due to odor.

The pictures and current reviews are pretty deceiving had I known it was in this poor condition and a truly awful ghetto place I would have most definitely and happily paid a little extra money to be on an actual hotel and not be in a run down motel. I didn’t even take a shower that night and the mattress was flimsy and uncomfortable I just wanted to the hell out. Staff were very nice and friendly though that is the only positive part about it.

It was well worth the price! Could use an upgrade with mattresses! Not a luxury hotel but worth the price. You can relax and not worry about a tweeker buggin you like most economy hotels. The air units could use an upgrade as well. Overall it recommendable if on a budget and need a weeks worth of stay!!

The housekeepers obviously do not clean I was placed in a room and there was hair all over the bed. I was placed into a different room and that shower had hair all over the walls. I was in the shower once I noticed and it honestly seemed like they didn’t clean. I wish I could post a video
