Truly unique lodging option in the Bay Area. Close to everything, yet secluded, safe, and quiet. We are so grateful that this building was transformed into an inn, and that it was done with such obvious care and concern.

Our stay was amazing. The staff was great, the service impeccable. Wine hour??? DELISH! I had the best time and I know my husband loved it as well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a weekend getaway or if you are getting married nearby!

Can't beat the location for walking: On the beautiful Presidio grounds, or to various San Francisco neighborhoods. Love the building & rooms, and staff are very helpful, and helpful. This is my family's regular place to stay when visiting San Francisco.

Beautiful location and large comfortable rooms. Several excellent restaurants walking distance. Very quiet at night. Great if you like to walk or run in the Presidio. Staff helping with reservations were exceptionally helpful

The Presidio is a wonderful escape in the city, its own world and a relaxing place for beautiful views, walks, and a slow-tempo. It's hard to imagine there is a hotel that feels up to par. The Inn at the Presidio is warm and welcoming - with the touches of amenities that feel thoughtful. Staff is friendly. The location and upkeep put you at ease, less like you're at a hotel and more like you're in a temporary home. If you're looking for a quiet escape with personalized touches, this is an excellent choice. I like this better than the beloved Cavallo Point in Sausalito.

The Inn at the Presidio is an oasis in the heart of San Francisco. You are greeted with a private parking area to the rear of the Inn, and a beautiful front porch along the entire width of the building. Inside delightful and professional staff see to your every need. Rooms were sparkling clean with great views of the presidio, bay, and a peek of the golden gate. Rooms have been updated but still retain that early 1900s charm. Strolling through the common areas with big band music playing you’d swear that General Pershing will come around the corner at any minute. Evening wine and cheese can’t be beat, with a cozy outdoor sitting area provided with a gas fire pit. Breakfast is amazing, with a nod to the classic European style breakfast. Best part: we were able to stay with our Terrier. Easy to walk to the bridge and fisherman’s wharf. Will be coming back, no doubt.

The Inn at the Presidio does not feel like you're in the city. It is very calm and peaceful. Beautiful access to trails and views of the Golden Gate bridge. Restaurants near by. Parking was easy. Loved the firepit that was going basically 24/7. Wonderful amenities including Nespresso in the room. Sofa bed was comfortable.
