Residence Smeraldo

I spent a week in August with my family in this residence, we had a really good time, the apartment was very nice and clean, the kitchen equipped with everything, much appreciated... the outdoor area where you can relax.

My family and I have been going to San Vito Lo Capo for three years. In August we booked this property for 3 nights, from the photos it was nice and close to the sea. Once we arrived, we went to get the keys and the owner informed us that we had to pay some expenses that we had not considered, tourist taxes, cleaning of the apartment, for us they were already calculated in the advance payment.. Furthermore they advised us parking is 15 euros per day, since from experience it is not easy to find parking in the town, we accepted. When we arrived at the property the parking was in an unattended square and nearby there were other municipal car parks that cost the same... without words... We no longer wanted the parking and the owner threatened not to give us the keys to the apartment . The third bed we had asked for was a sofa bed...and there would be nothing strange, but when we opened it it was full of spiders and with the folded mattress, it was dusty for no one knows how long it had been...it was an old sofa to throw away. An experience never had before, unfortunately we had already paid for everything... without words... good only to take the money and they put us in the middle with some nice cute photos.

From the booking photos the place appeared much more refined and welcoming (not all apartments have the nice terrace as shown in the advert), the experience was ruined by high and unexpected expenses. We arrive in town and our contact tells us how to get there. We go to the main building to collect the keys and the staff advises us (almost exhorts us) to purchase the residence's parking lot for 15 euros. At first we decide to refuse but at the insistence of the reception we finally give in. Perfect, it's a pity that we discover that the internal parking of the residence is unattended and above all with the gate always open. Furthermore, the block adjacent to the residence is full of parking spaces, so spending these 15 euros was useless from every point of view. But now let's get to the good part. In addition to the balance of the parking and the tourist tax, the staff informs us that we must pay the "cleaning" fee, which is customary for apartments but is usually included in the rate paid in the booking. We discover that this charge (50 euros for 1 night, no come on) is reported small in the notes (which usually contain another type of information). It is clear that your structure is much more competitive if you can remove 50 euros from the total that appears in the list with the other merchants. Is it our fault for not reading the footnotes? Ok, but I didn't know I had to hire a lawyer to avoid scams even when booking the holiday apartment. And above all, in this way I no longer have any desire to return. What a pity.

Abbiamo passato una settimana in questo residence, la posizione ottimale per raggiungere il mare che è veramente vicino, l' appartamento era ampio con tutto il necessario per cucinare, lenzuola molto pulite, letto comodo. Proprietario sempre presente e nelle vicinanze

Abbiamo passato una settimana fantastica in questo residence, la nostra permanenza è andata oltre le aspettative, l' appartamento era molto carino con un bel bagno, letti comodi e ben condizionato, la cucina ben attrezzata. Proprietario molto efficente !!

abbiamo trascorso un piacevole soggiono in settembre in questo residence veramente bello, il nostro appartamento era ben arredato e tinteggiato da poco, angolo cucina molto ben attrezzato ed infine un bel patio dove ci si è potuto rilassare

Abbiamo scelto il residence per il fatto che abbiamo tre figli, scelta azzeccata! Il residence smeraldo si trova in ottima posizione, sia per il mare che per il centro. L' appartamento era molto carino e dotato di tutto, la cucina aveva l' occorrente necessario per cucinare.

Locali spaziosi ma con arredi e finiture datate. Meriterebbe una ristrutturazione. Anche il piccolo spazio esterno sarebbe migliorabile, magari togliendo i bidoni della spazzatura proprio accanto al cancellino d'ingresso. A pochi passi dal centro e dalla spiaggia.

Come soluzione per una settimana di mare è ideale, pratica e vicina alla spiaggia (200mt ca.). Consiglio vivamente! Unica nota storta: ho incontrato un “giorno no” di un addetto dell’hotel che gestisce il residence, magari verso i clienti un po’ più di cura è ben accetta, anche perché gli altri operatori suoi colleghi sono stati super cordiali, carinissimi e disponibili a risolvere qualsiasi problema!
