Charming Hispanic property and hotel building. Check-in was easy, and the young woman at the front desk was very helpful when our room heater didn't work she provided a solution within minutes. Parking directly in front of the room. The room was very clean, shower with nice hot water. Apart from the super soft mattress on the queen bed, that made staying asleep for me 190 lbs, and my wife 105 lbs challenging. It felt like being on an airbed with not sufficient air inside. All are still acceptable for a quick night stay in Carpinteria.

It’s actually really cute, but you can’t expect the world and then be upset when it’s still a motel.
A lot of negative reviews seem to be comparing this to a totally different type of stay. For a motel, it’s really unique, the rooms are cute and interesting, and it’s clean, quiet, and felt safe.
The staff was also very nice! I’d recommend it if you need a place to stay.

I usually stay at Motel 6 since I travel with my dogs. This was a small step up. The room was a little bigger and breakfast was available. The bathroom tiny . Walls thin and heater was a wall unit.

The property advertised and we booked for the King Bedroom (with an additional twin bed) with 450sqft of living space on *******. However, the room turned out to have two twin beds and much smaller. Do not trust on what they advertise. The breakfast that they advertise was also almost nothing. The rates were much higher than the property across the street (Motel 6) which seemed much better options while booking with respect to price and I believe with honesty as well towards the customer.

Nice reasonable place to stay for the price. Close to downtown Carpinteria. Staff nice, rooms clean. I would stay there again. Not far from Santa Barbara.

I received a text the day we were supposed to check in, asking me to complete a registration form in advance and what time we would arrive. I completed the form, and gave our expected time of arrival. When we arrived, the person checking me in was professional. The room sufficiently met our needs. However, in the bathroom, the paint was peeling and one of the cabinets was broken. The breakfast that was provided on the day of our our check-out (we only stayed one night) was okay, but it would have been nice if fresh fruit had been available. The person who checked me out on the day we were leaving was professional.

The stay was relaxing! The only problem I had was there were no views at all. I was hoping I was going to be able to see the water since it’s very close however that wasn’t the case.
