Lovely breakfast. We enjoy the hospitality.

The room has a sense of history, so the facilities are definitely not as good as new hotels, but the service and environment are better. There was machine noise in the room we stayed in, so the hotel immediately moved us to a cabin in the yard. The garden is not big, but because there are few guests, it is enough. Whether you have breakfast or want to sit quietly and read a book, you can sit in the garden. The catering mainly focuses on afternoon happy time and breakfast, which tastes very good. I feel like I will choose this restaurant again when I come to Barbara in the future.

very good It is worth an experience. Although the price is not cheap, the overall service is butler-style, the garden is quiet and healing, and it feels like coming home. I was upgraded to a log cabin for free on the day, and the experience was great. I walked through the public garden every night when I went home, and I felt like I was in Alice in Wonderland. Breakfast: A very delicate breakfast is included in the room rate. The tableware is very sense, and the freshly made Bakery every day is very delicious. There are handicap and snacks every day, and Happy hour (red wine and buffet-style meals) in the evening is suitable for a drink. Overall very recommended! ! !

Lovely place, very friendly proprietor, yummy appetizers, cookies and wine, as well as breakfast. We walked to dinner - lots of choices. Im aure we would use the lawn and garden areas in warmer months. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay! They have a wonderful staff, beautiful grounds, and are convenient to the shopping and eating in SB. Highly recommend.

This hotel is a gem in Santa Barbara. It’s one of the oldest hotels and they have an amazing garden. We stayed in a cottage and it was charming and cosy with a beautiful fireplace. There is free wine and snacks in the evening and free breakfast in the morning. Service is great, they are super friendly and helpful. We also hang around in the garden after checking out because it is so charming and beautiful! Definitely will come back.

We had a very pleasant room which was very accessible. The attention at breakfast was very homely and delightful...we received good directions for a short walk.

One of our favorite escapes. We have been to the Simpson House many times and always enjoy our stay. We need to come in winter or spring so fireplace is on in main room. Just a gorgeous inn and beautiful, restful area.
