Truly such an incredible property and team. The room was spectacular and the views made it hard to leave our patio chair and room! From check-in to departure we were wowed by the petra villas team! Constantina at the front desk was a god send after our boat to Santorini was cancelled and helped coordinate a last minute airport ride. Her customer service was truly top notch, as was everyone else on the property! Shout out to Demetria at the bar for her wonderful wine recs too!

The hotel was recommended by a family member whilst searching for the perfect stay for our honeymoon, and as soon as we set our eyes upon it and heard such raving reviews we fell in love. There is no denying the hotel comes with a luxury price tag but with it boasting 5 stars, stunning views, sleek, modern decor and overall a luxury look and feel from images and descriptions we decided this was a worth it. Upon arrival we were firstly met with an obstruction to our apparent ‘Caldera View’ room with a wooden pergola designed with a wooden angled slat completely across the view. We then entered the room and were taken aback by how unlike the room before us seemed in comparison to the decor and interior design of the rooms across ***********, their own website as well as their social channels. The room felt incredibly ‘basic’, outdated and not the luxurious feel we were expecting or heard about. I have attached some images, but also wanted to bullet point our references for your understanding of why we cannot comprehend what we just experienced as a ‘5 star’ stay as well as feeling complete misled: - ‘Caldera View’ room not as advertised. Obstruction to view is a little like watching the theatre with a restricted view seat. Except they describe it from the offset as is, and it is discounted to reflect this. - Basic decor and furnishings not as reflected across imagery - Decorated / finished to an extremely poor standard or not up-kept at all. Entrance doors in dire need of repainting (we noticed the more superior suites had been newly decorated), paint / brush marks over walls, edges of doors and fittings etc displaying a real ‘rush’ fix / bodge job at patching over ‘worn’ areas over the years. Marks / stains over table tops / sides left. And also even mould on the edges of the lampshades. - Fittings in areas extremely concerning such as electrical tv port hanging out of the wall, attention to detail such as extraction fan being installed upside down. - Bathroom covered in mould and mildew which could easily be treated with a thorough regular clean. My husband and I are both asthmatic and mould spores really wreak havoc with our chest. - Bathroom also looking incredibly tired with the ‘modern’ black fittings worn, chipped and rusted with the shower head especially having I think never been descaled at all. As well as the look of this it also meant that most of the holes were blocked so the full shower did not work and water spurted in all directions meaning a weak water flow. - The bathroom sink also took an incredibly long time to drain and overall hot water in both the sink and shower took a good few minutes to reach a decent temperature. In addition to our disappointment with the room other areas of the resort which just goes to show the careless of the level of attention which you would expect from ANY hotel let alone a 5 star hotel: - I reported a broken chair on my first morning at breakfast to which I was told would be seen to ri

Location is ideal on the island. Central enough to get to food nearby and with incredible sweeping caldera views. Room was very comfortable - some issues with hot water at peak usage times e.g., right after sunset and before dinner (not sure that this is the hotel's fault or simply an island infrastructure issue). Private balcony offered incredible views away from the throngs of foot traffic. Pool was incredible with friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Delivered on quality and value.

My wife and I stayed here for our stop in Santorini. Of the 3 weeks that we were traveling, our hotel experience here was the most memorable. Our host Konstantina made us feel at home as well as the many other workers that you encounter daily. If you didn’t know, Santorini is an island where many work between April to October everyday so you tend to see the same employees daily. There’s a limited number of rooms so you feel very secluded and attended to. Tours, taxis, food is all taken care of so you don’t really have to worry about anything. The rooms itself were beautiful. The dining and pool area had amazing views of the caldera and even more beautiful views at sunset so you don’t really have to worry about going anywhere to see it. We stayed at another hotel at a similar price and it didn’t really compare. Overall, if I were to come again, I’d stay here. 5/5 on every aspect.

Amazing property with one of the most epic caldera views including of Skaros rock in all its majesty. I had the chance to stay in 2 different of their beautiful suites and they were both amazing, perfectly clean, large and very bright. Can’t choose one but you can see photos and videos here to check the differences. Despite being in Imerovigli, the privacy of the rooms with caldera view is amazing, you don’t feel like someone walking into your place at all. The breakfast buffet is great, it offers lots of Greek dishes and premium ingredients. Apostolos and Kostantina from the reception helped me to make the most out of my gf birthday with their care and kindness. I had a great services at 360° during my whole stay. From the bellboys, the cleaning lady and the waiters, everything was just mazing! Can’t recommend this place enough, hope to be back again next year!

Our stay at the Honeymoon Petra Villa's was excellent, the rooms were fantastic and the staff amazing and helpful. One word of warning, there are alot of stairs (not just in the hotel but in that part of the island in general), so be prepared to get your daily steps in, around the relaxing by the pool :)

Excellent property with amazing views and delicious breakfast. Pool area is also one of the best in the village. Our room was also very nice and quiet. Our bed was a bit uncomfortable but other than that I have no complaints.

The most amazing place to stay. We stayed in the standard room and had the most sensational views frm the room and balcony. The amenities are also amazing. Things we loved: the views, the pool, breakfast, service for things like transport, making dinner reservations, and providing recommendations. If you're looking for a place to stay in santorini regardless of whether its your honeymoon, look no further!

The property was beautiful and unique. The 2 bedroom villa was phenomenal. It was right next to the pool which also had a swim up bar. The staff and customer service was fantastic and one of the best we have experienced. Dimitra in particular was fabulous. The food was delicious. We also enjoyed the breakfast a lot.

Let's start that it doesn't have the quality and comfortable stay of a 5 star hotel in overall at all . Staff were very helpful . Rooms- bathroom not adequate , wardrobe and furniture very little capacity, mini bar empty with just a plastic bottle of water! Curtains did not block sunlight, nothing to do with a 5 star hotel. If hotel is full there is not enough sunbeds for clients, people had to sit in chair's all day . Food was quite good 👍. Not adequate for long stays.

This is our second time at Honeymoon Petra villas and just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, it has only improved since our last visit! While the views are breath taking, the service is just out of this world. Konstantina helped my sister Natalie plan the entire vacation via email. Upon arrival, she introduced her self, gave us a tour around the hotel, and personally came up to us every single day to check in on us and make sure we were doing ok. Panos was very helpful around the pool during the day. The gentleman at the reception (don’t remember his name) was unbelievable as well. One of our family members had their luggages lost and we could not get a hold of the airport. He went out of his way to call the airport numerous times a day during our 4 day stay without us even asking him to do so. Everyone is just so kind, attentive, helpful, and they genuinely care about your experience. Highly recommend!

Incredible Stay from start to finish. Everything about this place screams luxury. Santorini is blessed with some incredible hotels. However on walking around, my wife and I could not find one which could beat this place which made us very smug the whole 4 days we stayed there. Rooms are incredibly well put together and the private heated pool just made us feel like rockstars. The staff were incredibly helpful and massive thank you to the reception team for the great restaurant recommendation. Only pick up my wife and I could find was to add a few more non alcoholic options on the menu. There was only 3 and one of them was a virgin Bloody Mary. Which is just tomato juice and the price was a little steep for that. Genuinely, apart from that incredibly small detail. This was by far the best European hotel we have ever stayed in and would recommend anyone planning to go to Santorini to stay at this hotel. Seeing new people arrive each day and the look on their faces as they are shown around. I know we’re are not the only ones. Incredible! Room tip: make sure you try and book a room in the Petra wing. The traditional is a little far from the pool and a fair few stairs.

Undoubtedly the most breathtaking view in Santorini, perhaps in all of Greece. Sitting front row in the highest village of the Caldera, your cabana feels like a magic carpet flying you over this mythical island. Instead of the typical local white buildings sandwiched between each other, you sleep in secluded caves carved into the mountainside, surrounded by chic rustic design and botanic gardens thriving upon cliffs of volcanic rocks. You’re within walking distance of several top-rated restaurants (5min) and even the main city of Fira (20min). And perhaps most importantly, you’re pampered with hospitality that’s only possible with a local family-owned business carried on by each new generation. Thank you, Nikolas, for everything. We’ll be back soon.
