Very friendly staff, very helpful with everything we needed, good recommendation for a trolley tour, it is an old building and that was part of the charm, and spooky.

We enjoyed the lovely historic property right in Savannah's historic district. The guesthouse was charming & offered a private courtyard, as well as on-site parking. The food at the 17Hundred90 Inn & Restaurant was fabulous too. A wonderful stay experience!

While staff and interactions were welcoming, the facility is in dire need of a refresh- carpet in hallways and staircases not regularly vacuumed and need to be shampooed. Room and hallway wall painting scuffed and stained, curtains likewise in need of cleaning. Upon checking in we were told that rooms were not cleaned daily- ??? We never would have booked had we known this. Do not recommend for the price. Disappointing.

We found the hotel was in an excellent location and we were able to walk to all of the sites we were interested in. The staff was welcoming and helpful especially Barbara.

Great location and Grumpy is amazing. I wish he would accept tips and maybe donate to local charity? Room was clean and comfortable, however overdue for an update. Couch was way past its prime, blinds didn’t work, there were curtains we could close instead. Would still stay there again. They were little things. The people made it great! Didn’t have time to try the restaurant, but it was packed and smelled delicious.

Best staff in the business. Felt as if we were dealing with family. Highly recommend you visit Chris and his welcoming staff!

Great location & staff. Quiet spacious rooms. My only complaint would be the lukewarm showers but that didn't ruin the great weekend we enjoyed.

I've stayed here before and love the hotel and its location. We came for the book festival and it was only a few blocks walking distance, which was perfect. Everything within walking distance. The neighborhood is safe and nice and quiet at night. Hotel service was excellent and a special shout out to Grumpy, who helped us with parking, gave a tour of the place, and carried our bags up two flights of stairs. The hotel's restaurant is amazing, and the bar is a great place to grab a drink and get out of the cold (or heat, depending on time of year). Only real issue is cleanliness. The place needs a thorough vacuuming. My girlfriend suffered due to her allergies, and dirt and crumbs could be seen under the couch and other furniture. The shower had what looked to be mold forming on the grout. With better cleaning this place would get 5 stars.

Lovely decorated house. Housekeeping did not attend to our room to replace coffee and cups.

This is a great place to stay. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It has a pub and restaurant on premises.

Miss Barbara greeted us at the desk and she was most helpful and friendly. Then there is Grumpy. He is anything but. What a joy and great guy. We absolutely struck gold in finding this place.

Bathroom shower and tub were large and in good condition. Room was comfortable, though the bed was a little firm for my taste. The restaurant is OUTSTANDING, with great food and service. Will definitely consider returning.

Wonderful and friendly staff. Welcoming for sure. Loved the tavern vibe and food was incredible. Scott and Barbara were amazing!wish there were muffins, croissants or something simple for breakfast though. We will stay again if we are in Savannah!
