Rooms are beautiful and spacious but the policy of the length of stay that we were made unaware of when we booked here was a negative and made it so my boyfriend and I were unsure if we were to stay here again. Other than that the resort was beautiful

The location was awesome because most of the places you would want to visit are close by. The service at the McCormick weren’t up to par. I was disappointed because this is listed as a resort. To begin we rented the bike that they have available and the brakes didn’t work on either bike. The seat post wouldn’t hold either (I only weight about 155lbs) so that shouldn’t have been an issue. I’m a nutshell, it’s an accident waiting to happen. With the resort fees that they charge per day they should be able to at least tune up the brake pads and seat post. The beds are very outdated and old; my wife and I would wake up with our backs hurting and we are still very young; we are in our early 30s and late 20s, so the beds shouldn’t have caused this problem. House keeping never showed up, even when we would request them to clean our room. They said the pool was heated, but it was ice cold. Keep in mind I like the cold temperatures, but this was too cold. The best part about the McCormick would have to be the location. The views were nice, but not enough to make up for the issues we had.

Do not waste your money staying here. This hotel is very old, it’s like stepping into the 80’s or 90’s. We had trouble right from check in, they gave us a 1 bed room and I requested 2 beds. We went back to the check in desk and requested a different room, they told us this was an “upgrade”. The “upgrade” was dark and dingy. We got our rooms switched but I guess their 90’s computer wasn’t updated. At 11:30pm, the front desk banged on our door. Pounded on the door to the point my kids were crying and I made my husband go to the front desk. The front desk acted as if they did nothing wrong and explained that their old computers weren’t up to date. I wish I took photos of how old and run down it was.

I arrived on Friday and after checking in. I was told that my room was down the hallway and it just keep going. I arrived in my room to discover the a/c and heat was a large unit which was very loud. Next thing my patio door would not open. I was starving so went to eat at restaurant. Came back to room and found out there was a soccer tournament in town…I heard kids upstairs running and jumping and opening and closing loudly. I called ******* and was told many different things…I was told that no one was available at the hotel and I said that makes no sense. I said well, I am leaving in the morning and please cancel my stay. She said well, since I cannot get ahold of them I can’t do anything! I said I know someone must answer it’s to early. I was getting so many mixed messages…. I departed at 6:30am

Overpriced for what we got. Parking lot is in bad shape and filled with potholes. Gross stain on the sofa chair in our room. Interior had been renovated at some point but overall the facility still looked and felt dated.

enjoy my stay at The McCormick. Beds are comfortable and room was clean. Our room was facing the mountains/ main street so it gets pretty noisy. Other than that, it was a nice place to stay.

Nice location, but further upgrades are needed. Most room furniture was old and WORN or old and stained.

I was very disappointed. We loved the view, but there was a filter from the pool that ran 24/7. I felt like a vacuum was in my room going all the time. I told the front desk but they didn't care. On check out day the maid came in at 8am and didn't knock. She woke my kids up. Again, I mentioned to the front desk but they just looked at me. There is also no hot tub at the facility. The area is great if it wasn't for those few concerns.

This property is old and dated, but clean and comfortable. The location is convenient to restaurants and golf and an LA Fitness (with a free 3-day pass) is just a mile away. We had a great sunny getaway at the last minute!

This place is ok, clean, quiet and good size rooms. The staff is excellent and service is great. Its a little dated but the staff makes up for that. It's not far from Old Town Scottsdale but you have to drive, a little under 4 miles. We prefer being closer to Old Town and that area of Scottsdale so for us location is not that convenient. But, its a clean quiet place in a safe area, just not updated.

Liked just about everything except the bathroom door which wouldn’t completely close. That’s bad!

Nice hotel but we were stuck with a room facing the Scottsdale Rd which was very noisy. We tried each day to switch rooms but were told that hotel was booked during spring training. If they wanted, the staff could have accommodated our request. They did not. If you want to stay at this hotel, let staff know that you do not want room along Scottsdale Rd before you book the room.

We were pretty upset because I was traveling with three teenage girls and housekeeping came in for separate times without knocking, and with the do not disturb sign on the door and one of the times my daughter was getting dressed

Obviously an older property, the swim pool concrete decking is deteriorated. Nice surroundings but needs some updating.
