Reviews of Sembayu Villa

The hotel was clean and the service was good but it is quite isolated and not much activities to do, there is snooker at the lobby and other than that no other activity, jungle trekking available but have to book in advance. Simple breakfast only.

The hotel has a great view, and the staff were very polite and friendly. However, my stay was ruined by a major issue—there was a power outage that lasted for hours, and there was no water supply. This made it extremely uncomfortable, especially in the heat, and I had a very bad experience as a result. While the service and location were good, the lack of basic necessities like electricity and water made my stay unpleasant. I hope the hotel improves its facilities to prevent this from happening again.

A peaceful place surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxation and clearing the mind. The staff provide excellent service with a great attitude.

Had an amazing stay at the villa! It felt extra homely because Rosslee and his colleagues were so friendly and welcoming. Food was great (especially mashed potatoes), with Rosslee double-hatting as the chef. Was initially worried about the accessibility of food so we prepped instant food in case we got hungry at night.. but we were so well fed throughout the stay. If you love snacking like us, just buy some snacks & drinks before driving up since there isn’t any convenience stores nearby. This villa is literally within the nature, on a secluded mountain, so manage your own expectations on mosquitoes & bugs. Did some homework and prepared some mosquito repellents and coils prior to checking in. Also try to check in during the day as the drive up can be intimidating after sun sets. Soundproofing in the room isn’t the best too but isn’t it quite amazing how they can build this villa on the mountains already? Overall 10/10 stay for hubby and I!

Don’t waste your money staying here. The prices are far too high for the low standards of the rooms, and overall service. The experience is far below expectations, and the lack of professionalism from the staff makes it even worse. Spend your money elsewhere—you’ll regret choosing this place. Rude staff. Don't allow food delivery guy to stop for delivery. The road is so steps. Ask the delivery guy to go away. Resort high class but low class staff. It's raining day and the road is slippery too. Will never recommend anybody to go there.

Scenic drive to the east of Seremban. There’s not a whole lot to do in the area, but that’s pretty much the point of getting away to a forest retreat. The rooms are spacious and the beds super comfortable. All rooms have beautiful views over the green landscape. It’s a very peaceful and quiet location. We only stayed for one night. Ideal for a couples retreat rather than with kids (they’ll get bored pretty quick). Unfortunately the hiking trails in the area are in a state of disrepair and closed until further notice (one leading to a WW2 plane crash site). The food was a bit hit and miss. If you stick with ordering local Malay fare it’s reasonable. We’d consider coming back once the hiking trails are re-opened.

The place provided a nice scenic view, that’s about it. Really not worth the price paid, internet service was terrible, don’t even have a proper TV channel, food wise not only expensive but choices are limited, hardly any activity available. Even though staffs are few, but they are friendly.
