A fantastic boutique hotel. Stepping into a past privileged world in Seville. Beautifully preserved 1700 manor located on a quite Plaza in the old city. Wonderful service from all the staff especially Jorge. We were fortunate to have the junior suite which was just perfect. Great breakfast with a full selection of options and a choice of beautiful sitting areas. Will definitely return when in Seville.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, greeting us with a cool drink on arrival , and the hotel was spotlessly clean throughout. Our room had luxurious curtains and a very comfortable bed. A large chandelier hung over the bed but the room was rather dark, making reading difficult. There was an antique mirror in an alcove which had lost its reflective qualities so was of little use. The other mirror was in the bathroom where the hairdryer could not be used . The location was excellent, situated on a fairly quiet square within easy walking distance of the cathedral, Alcazar and many restaurants, bars ,cafes and shops.

Exquisite hotel with beautiful rooms and very friendly staff. Well situated for all the historic sites of Seville. It is set in a 500 year old palace and the decor and fitting blend in perfectly with its surroundings. One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at

Outstandingly helpful and obliging staff preside over this striking hotel, exuberant and eclectic in its period features, immaculately clean, with comfortable and quiet rooms fully equipped with everything one needs. It is located in an interesting neighbourhood with a range of restaurants from casual inexpensive to Michelin-starred. Excellent choice for Seville.

I stayed in Ateneo Sevilla for a few days for business purposes. The arrival day was most astonishing. I entered into the main entrance lobby and had a literal "jaw-dropping" experience. The property was obviously some 250-300 years ago a palais with a courtyard and an outbuilding behind the main house. It has been brilliantly restored and renovated, without losing its original style and particularity. There are only 10 or 11 rooms, all of them completely different. I have been accommodated in a huge cathedral like library with a mezzanine bedroom, 2 bathrooms and a fire place. Absolutely top-clean, with antiques from Spain decorated and beautifully furnished. The staff was outstanding. Friendly, helpful and absolutely professional. A boutique hotel of trailblazing standard and absolutely to recommend to anybody coming to Sevilla!!

My wife and I enjoyed all the hospitality and incredible city insights this hotel has to offer. A fantastic little gem nestled at the heart of Seville! Highly recommended for anyone wishing to experience the real Seville!

Staying at the Ateneo hotel was a splendid experience. The kind staff made it all run smoothly. A wonderful and varied buffet in which one can enjoy a scrumptious omelette or for a sweet tooth like me, some amazing chocolatey baked goods.

Hotel Ateneo offers a delightful and conveniently located setting in the heart of Seville. Because of this, it was the perfect place for our Family Reunion in October 2023. During my five-day stay, I enjoyed the comfortably immaculate surroundings and the delicious breakfast buffets, which were plentiful with a wide variety for all tastes and preferences. Overall, I am very grateful to owner Severiano, general manager Rocio, and the three "J's": Joaquin, Jorge, and Juan Jose. Your level of service and attention to hotel guests was well beyond anything that I could have imagined. Thank you very much for a very pleasant stay. When I make plans to return to Seville, I will look forward to staying at Hotel Ateneo!

This is a very cute boutique hotel. The room was quirky but really charming and the staff, particularly the bartender was outstanding.

We stayed at the Hotel Ateneo for 7 nights. We really liked it. Ask for the suite at the top, room 303. A private, large terrace and a truly large and beautifully decorated suite. The entire staff is welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is a nice Spanish buffet and you can order from a hot menu as well. The bar is adorable. The location is excellent…safe, quiet and easy walking distance to a vast number of dining options. We walked everywhere.

Fantastic Hotel located in safe, charming and beautiful neighborhood. The hotel was amazing, stafff were great, rooms were clean and comfortable I would come back again!!

Hardly ever, any boutique hotel leaves me with such wonderful impression and memories. Hotel Ateneo Sevilla establishment is a Renaissance palace in an excellent location in historical district of the city, filled with beautiful original furniture and items from the era it belongs to. One may feel like in a fairy tale about Scheherazade. I can reccomend it to anyone planning to visit Sevilla. Small inconveniences like labyrinth way to get there by car or poor internet in the room may not lower the value of the place. Walking distance to Alcazar palace, best tapas restaurants street and many other atractions balances in favour of the place. What is worth to mention is that it has only a few rooms, so it’s never crowded and noisy. You may feel like in luxury home. A very nice gesture from the hotel was a bottle of Cava delivered as a surprise to our room for our wedding anniversary.
