This is a wonderful hotel!!! The ******* design and decor makes it a memorable stay and welcome to the culture. The hotel is not only located at the entrance of the old town, you can also catch didi taxi here quickly and easily as well. I really enjoyed my time here and wished I had another few nights... You do need time to adjust to the altitude! Breakfast was a fusion of Chinese and Tiberan dishes - simple but enough to start the day. I would stay here again. I highly recommend to consider this hotel.

We had a great time at this hotel. The location is simply unbeatable; it's very near Yueguang Plaza and has several dining and hopping options nearby. The room is also quite spacious, and the bathroom was equipped with a smart toilet. They also have an in-house costume rental store that guests can avail of at prices lower than outside providers. Oh and let's not forget the very adorable Tang Yuan, the in-house dog who was there to greet us when we arrived. :) will definitely recommend this hote to anyone visiting Shangrila City!

Location was great, super close to Old Town and the Giant Prayer Wheel. The staff were all very friendly, room was spacious and the bed was comfy. Absolutely will stay here again when I come back to Shangri-la with family.

We stayed for three nights and had a room with one single bed and one king-size bed. The mattresses were very comfortable, allowing us to rest well after long days. One small improvement would be to have another mirror in the room, as there is currently only one in the bathroom. The hotel is beautiful and very conveniently located, close to Dukezong Ancient Town, making it easy to explore the area. Just a few shops away, there is a large basement shopping center where we could buy instant noodles, which was helpful since we weren’t fully used to the local food. There are also familiar options like KFC, McDonald's, and Pizza nearby, making meals convenient. Breakfast was decent, though not entirely to our taste. Overall, the hotel offers a great combination of comfort, convenience, and location. A special mention goes to Lamu, the owner, who is incredibly kind and attentive. She always checked in on us, reminded us to stay hydrated, and even kindly dropped us off at the train station. Her warmth and hospitality truly made our stay memorable, and we would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Shangri-La.

Let me tell the world about the amazing makeup service at this place! The value for money is incredible, absolutely fantastic! Even with my phone's natural camera, I was super satisfied with how it turned out. Plus, they only cater to in-house guests, so no waiting in line for makeup – the experience is top-notch! The owner and the ladies at the shop are all so warm and helpful, they'll even assist you with styling. Returning the clothes is super convenient too; getting your makeup done beautifully downstairs in the morning and then returning the clothes back at the hotel in the evening is just brilliant! **Facilities:** The whole place is bursting with ******* style. The hotel has parking and an elevator, which is a huge plus for guests with lots of luggage. There's even a humidifier in the room. Breakfast is great too, you can choose whatever you like from the buffet, including rice noodles and more. **Cleanliness:** An auntie comes to clean every day, and disposable towels and toothbrushes are provided. **Service:** The hotel staff are all incredibly enthusiastic, and the airport drop-off service is super convenient! There's also an adorable little dog at the shop. Next time I'm in Shangri-La, I will definitely come back here. The experience was truly nice!

The owners are exceptional and their staff are a great extension of them! They also helped me to book the banquets (Zha La - the one with hot guys and dance party around the campfire). I’m very touched by their check ins and greetings every time I walk in. It felt like I’ve known them for a while. Their 2-year old dog is well behaved but once you give it permission, it will want to lick you all over. The venue is also very close / convenient to other popular attractions at Dukezong ancient town.

The owner was incredibly welcoming and even provided airport/train station pickup and drop-off services. The hotel's Tibetan-style decor is very unique and charming. Being located right in the ancient town makes exploring super convenient! It's fantastic value for money, and I had a great experience. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Arrived by high-speed train at 10 PM, and the owner enthusiastically picked me up. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged. The hotel is also close to the park.

Beautiful Shangri-La, beautiful hotel! The hotel is stunning, with picturesque views everywhere you look. The service is incredibly warm, attentive, and thoughtful. A perfect choice for a luxurious Tibetan-style journey.

The room was charmingly rustic and exceptionally clean. The owner was incredibly friendly and hospitable, and their dog was adorable. The breakfast was a delicious Tibetan-style spread. We even got a free room upgrade. Overall, an absolutely fantastic stay!

The hotel has an interesting and colorful decor and the owner drives you to the station. This said there were several problems during our stay here. The major one is that the location is near to a party house, which didn’t stop until late in the morning. I don’t know if this is an everyday event or just the particular time we booked. Another problem is the room is very hot and dry and had poor ventilation (which is exacerbated by the noise issue). And there was seemingly no air conditioning. This made several poor nights of sleep.

The hotel is beautiful and exactly as shown in the photos. The two hosts are super friendly and nice. The staff were nice, we didn't need them to clean our room, but they left us with bottles of water, new toilet paper, and a box of tissues. I would recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Shangri-la Old Town area.
