Kawatana Grand Hotel Otafuku

I stayed in the detached room Garyuume 216. I could see the moon from the open-air bath attached to the room, and the indoor bath was nice. The room was renovated and the facilities were clean and comfortable. (It was a twin room, but it was strange that the beds were placed so far away from each other.) Because it was a room meal plan, the food was brought to the room, and the hot pot was made at just the right time. I am very satisfied. It was very delicious. The breakfast was also very good. I didn't use the public bath, but I would like to visit again someday. I got a Shimonoseki coupon when I checked out, so I was lucky that I could pay for the drinks at dinner there. Just one point, before check-out (around 9 o'clock), are you cleaning? The door of the room was opened without permission, and cleaning may not have started because there were still shoes, but it was left open and there was no voice, so I was confused. (I may have forgotten to lock the door, but...) As for the rooms that have not been checked out yet, I think it would be good to at least say something. However, even considering that, it was a very good hotel. The staff greeted me every time I passed them, and I was able to spend a very pleasant time. thank you very much.

I was satisfied with the location, clean rooms, facilities, etc., but the bath...I personally feel disappointed. I think it looks too modern. People come to the hot springs in search of healing, so I think it is necessary to have something that allows them to feel the Japanese hot spring culture. Unfortunately, there was nothing in the bathhouse of this hotel that felt like a hot spring. It's a pity that there are good facilities. Am I the only one who thinks that the number of repeaters will increase if the hot spring facilities are reviewed in the long run?

I wanted to avoid crowds and make a pilgrimage to Yamaguchi, so I visited this hotel in the Shimonoseki area that I chose on the first day during Golden Week. The room was a Japanese-Western style room with more than 10 tatami mats, and although it was on the 6th floor, the outlook was quite good, and the city, the distant island (I forgot the name), and the sunset were very beautiful. I had a full course dinner at the hotel, but I was very satisfied with the volume. There are not many open-air baths, but they are very large pool-like open-air baths, so the scenery changes from morning to night. In addition, there was an impression that the entire building was renovated by a designer, and there were Santoka narratives everywhere. The staff were all very polite and nothing was faulty. It was a very nice inn that made me want to stretch my legs and visit this hotel again if I wanted to stay in a narrow and expensive hot spring inn in the Kanto region.
