It is very close to the JR station, but if you drag the box, the road is not flat. In some places, the snow is not cleared and you have to go around. The hotel itself is still good. The front desk is very polite and there are several vending machines on the first floor. There are vending machines, microwave ovens and washing machines on the 3rd floor. The room itself is not big, but there are plenty of empty spaces, and you can put a long table or sofa. Turn right from the main entrance of the hotel for 50 meters, then turn left and turn right, it is the 711 convenience store. Some roads here seem to be not allowed to drive, please note. The town is bigger than you think, but there are very few people.

We had some problems getting to the hotel, as Google maps insisted on pointing us to another deserted building down the street (which also had a sign Takasago onsen). Once we got in, it turned out nobody at the reception spoke any English, luckily one of the other guests who was just checking in volunteered to interpret. It turned out that they wanted to notify us that the AC in our room was broken (it was 35 degrees outside). After refusing to accept that room, they gave us another room with a working AC. The hotel itself is very similar to other big spa hotels we stayed in, reasonably comfortable rooms, big buffet meals, but the quality of the food was so so, but the highlight of the place was the onsen, with about 10 inside pools and a nice outside jacuzzi. I guess that was the big attraction for all the tourist groups.

We stayed for one night during the snowy season in late January. Since it was early in the morning the next day, I stayed overnight without meals. It has good access from the station, and restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel itself looked old and I thought it was probably a rebranded hotel. There is nothing wrong with that. When I made a reservation, I wrote that I would like to tell you if I have allergies, so I was inquiring from the ”inquiry” on the homepage, but there was no reply until check-in. I already felt uneasy here. Check-in was splendidly skipped and waited for more than 20 minutes. It was not responded for a while even if it was told. At last, a male staff appeared and the procedure began, but the allergy was not understood. Allergy is related to the life and death of a person, and even if you tell me that you want to respond properly, you will not be able to confirm the contents of the allergy by laughing and saying ”sorry, sorry” I was. When you check in, you can have a hot spring manju in a lounge where only the guests enter. However, there is already no at check-in. When I asked if it was in the staff, I was told to ”prepare immediately”, but no replenishment was made. I couldn't. The staff seem to be a hotel that is characterized by busy running around in front of the guests, but it is not necessary. I entered the room and tried to call the front desk by phone, but it was not connected. The line of the inner line telephone is out. What do you do in emergency?
