We had an amazing trip at the Water Gardens. We loved our spacious villa where we could take a dip in the plunge pool and watch a film. Food and service were fantastic and we loved a sun down wet and swim in the infinity pool which was lovely and warm. It is ideally situated for many sites in Sri Lanka and we would highly recommend it. My son said it was the best place we stayed in our adventure in Sri Lanka. One morning we saw a crocodile and the birds including peacocks were spectacular

Water Garden Sigiriya is one of the places I want to go if I want to relax. This is my third time. The water garden hotel has a beautiful environment that makes me feel comfortable. The staff is very friendly. Thank you all for adding joy to my busy life. I will come back to see you

One of the finest places we have visited. The hospitality and the attention to detail was excellent. From the moment the vehicle pulled up, to the moment we drove off, the attentiveness of the staff and the approachable and friendly atmosphere made the entire vacation so much better. The property on its own was serene and quiet. Clean and full operative. The suite and plunge pool was spotless. Be aware the water temperature in the pool does drop drastically due to the trees around covering up the sun. A heated pool may have done the trick. Limited views of the Sigiriya rock is possible provided the skies are clear. Trees in the adjoining properties blocks the view but it does not take away too much from the experience. Our Butler Dilanka gave us a fully detailed brief on arrival. This made utilizing our time better, so much more easier. Huge thank you to the staff, You guys were fantastic!

A beautifully designed property with an amazing staff, located in Sigiriya. This place is like a little slice of paradise tucked away from all the worries of the world. All the villas are tastefully furnished and the property has a fantastic view of the Sigiriya Rick Fortress! The service we received was impeccable. Hands down 10/10 and same goes for food as well for food serving since it was next level. Beautifully presented and the flavors were out of this world.

This has to be the best hotel we have ever stayed at, from the moment we arrived until when we left it was like being in paradise. The welcoming and complimentary massages set the bar high and it was maintained throughout our stay. Firstly the grounds are so well maintained (and with over 135 staff they are constantly refined and perfected!) and a joy to wander around with many peacocks, beautiful fish and even a crocodile basking on an island in the lake. The butlers were exceptional with a big thank you to Sashi for all his help particularly when our daughter was sick to arrange a doctor and also for all of the restaurant food to be provided at our room. The food was exceptional and better than anything else we had sampled not just in Sri Lanka but possibly ever. Even our “selective” children relished the breakfast and dinner time. Huge thanks to the executive chef and all of the restaurant staff for exceptional service - highly recommend the rotti with curry and dahl for breakfast and the curry and rice for dinner which has no less than 12 side dishes that were all amazing. The scallops were also some of the best my wife and I have ever tasted. Ricky the wellbeing expert led amazing daily yoga sessions that we all enjoyed and learnt new techniques. Finally the rooms themselves were unbelievable with exceptionally tasteful design and high quality accessories including some great Nikon binoculars that came in very handy for our safari and the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. If I could live here I would. We will be back!

The villa was gorgeous and so well appointed. Sitting room and bedroom as well as a spacious bathroom. The environment was beautiful and serene with lots of wildlife. Electric buggies are babble to take you around the resort - and are recommended at night.lovely pool area, delicious food and great service - couldn’t want for anything more! Wish we could have stayed longer.

This place was amazing. All the staff went above and beyond for us all. So friendly and welcoming. Kitchen staff were also brilliant, as was the food. The views are amazing, villas were something else. Soon as we walked in we were amazed in the size of them. Will defiantly be coming back. Thank you

The Water Garden is truly one of the most unique properties we have ever stayed at. It seamlessly blends a natural setting with modern amenities in each villa. Nestled in a picturesque location offering stunning views of Sigiriya Rock, it provides a serene retreat into nature. The staff was exceptionally courteous and always eager to assist. Special mention goes to Chathumini, the guest relationship officer, whose warm welcome and professional service enhanced our experience.

The most stunning property we have stayed at in Sri Lanka. From the moment our driver pulled into the entrance you could sense how special the place was. The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. We stayed in a room with a private pool which I would highly recommend. The room was fantastic and was large and spacious and felt very luxurious. There is a beautiful view of The Sigiriya Rock from the hotel grounds. Lots of animals to see in the grounds including monkeys, birds and even crocodiles!! We enjoyed a bicycle ride whilst we were there and a lovely treatment in the Spa. We will certainly return one day!
