BE SURE TO PURCHASE TICKETS ONLINE EARLY!Similar popularity as Japan USS, Ghibli park have many visitors in queue everyday. The park is well maintained with many photogenic spots and interactive installations. Staff are trained in English too! recommended visiting hours: 10AM They are closed on Tuesdays. Cafe at the park’s entrance sells tasty onigiriNote: you can try your luck by buying tickets at the entrance’s Lawson. However, no guarantee as tickets depends on ONLINE SALES.

Ghibli Dream World#2024wish #japan #nagoya This is the Ghibli Park theme park in Nagakute, Aichi, Japan. It is not like USJ or Disneyland which have rides, this is more like a museum where you get to see Ghibli scenes come to life. The nearest station is Aichikyuhaku Kinenkoen Station. There are also limited meitetsu buses from Nagoya station to the Park. It is a must go for Ghibli fans. It is just so surreal and magical to see the sets. You can even see Totoro behind a bar table. So cute! There is also limited edition short Ghibli films for us to watch in a theatre. It changes seasonally. It was a really nice experience over there. I wish to visit the Ghibli museum in 2024Japventure3

It is built on and within the grounds of Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park (Moricoro Park). You can either take a train to Ai-Chikyuhaku Kinen Koen station or take a Meitetsu shuttle bus from Nagoya station to Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park. Unfortunately, these are not included in the JR Pass. Although they call it a themed park, it is more like a museum. You get to take lots of Ghibli scenes and see how they are created. New Ghibli Park in Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park#wecreate Opened in Nov 2022, Ghibli Park is located within the Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park in Nagoya. Currently, only Ghibli's Grand Warehouse is open to foreigners, and one has to queue up online a few months in advance to purchase the tickets. The Ghibli's Grand Warehouse is an indoor attraction featuring all from past Studio Ghibli movies such as Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, My Neighbor Totoro, Ponyo and more... There are a lot of photo spots you can take photos with, as well as seasonal short original movie you can watch, exhibits, souvenirs for purchase and even children's play area. It's a great experience for Studio Ghibli fans.LYvonne10

Nagoya hotspot🔥 Ghibli Park✨✨The Ghibli Park in Nagoya, which opened last November 🤩, was so popular that several months' worth of lottery and first-come-first-served tickets were sold out! 😱 Moreover, foreigners found it difficult to purchase tickets because they had to provide a Japanese address and phone number. 🥲 When I checked in December, all tickets were sold out until March. However, I was able to visit by purchasing a package that included a hotel and Ghibli Park tickets. 🙂🙂 We visited the largest and most famous "Ghibli's Treasure Trove," which had many photo spots that recreated famous scenes from Ghibli animations and sets that made us feel like we were in the actual animation! It was really enjoyable! 😍 Although Ghibli Park is a theme park, you can still enjoy the park without a ticket. Ghibli Park ‘23Managed to book tickets 3 months in advance when it opened up for foreigners. Glad that we arrived earlier to line up at 11:30 as our admission was for 12pm. It was eye opening and amazing!Every small detail was accurately depicted and illustrated from the films. Definitely worth the hype for all Ghibli fans. It’s a must come if you are in Nagoya. Do be prepared to stay for 2-3 hours.Holland93983

Ghibli Theme Park#nagoyatrip Fantastic place to visit. Even going off to the Japanese Gardens around the Ghibli themed parts is a must as everything is just breathtaking. The main Ghibli Warehouse was awesome with lots to do with short wait times and a cinema that played a short film from Studio Ghibli called "Mei and the Kitten Bus." Need to book tickets in advance as they do sell out, especially if you want to go to the other locations. The annoying part is you can only select one, which I think is silly. When booking my tickets, the Spirited Away themed area was sold out, so we selected the new area 'Mononoke Village.' I was underwhelmed with how small the section was with only 2 buildings and some nice big models of 2 of the animals but really just was underwhelmed. Maybe the other areas are great? But can say please go cause the Warehouse was out of this world.Ms.Claire

Ghibli Park#thingstodo We were super excited to visit as huge Ghibli fans but were really disappointed overall. While the park itself is beautiful we were expecting to be “immersed” in the world of Ghibli, instead we found long queues for in the main warehouse and rather boring displays everywhere else. Yes it’s beautifully decorated but that’s about it. It’s simply an opportunity to take pictures with statues of the main characters and there are very few interactive elements. The staff are extremely “by the book” and not flexible at all (like not allowing our child who at the time was in a crawling/walking phase to play in the play area - they wanted to see him walk whereas he didn’t want to at the time). The food was quite rubbish too with very little choice in the afternoon, so go early! I’d say there are more exciting things to do in Japan so we would have skipped if we’d known.she travels

Whimsical and cute Ghibli park#fallishere Mine you, getting the tickets are tough! We bought ours 3 months in advance and they tend to sell out really fast. And please book the earliest slot you can get! The main Ghibli Warehouse was awesome with lots to do with short wait times and a cinema that played a short film from Studio Ghibli. All the decors were nicely presented - you just have to be patient to line up and take photos happily. Overall if you are a studio Ghibli fan, I recommend visiting. But if you only saw 1-2 movies, then no. You'll appreciate the park more if you are familiar with the movies so binge watch before visiting!Zaclin291

Convenient and accessible via the subway, and the directions to the park start from the subway station. The queue inside can be quite long for some of the exhibits.
I went to Ghibli Park in Nagakute City, Nagoya. There is also a Ghibli Museum in Japan. Although I can't go there, I'm sorry, but I'm satisfied with my agent. I'm going to Nagoya with Enger these days. It seems to be comfortable because there are many direct ports. It was like a movie set in Ghibli Park, so it was nice to see.
the Grand Warehouse was an impressive place to explore. Lively and lots of vibrant colours like in the films. My favourite location was Arriety’s House at the lower floor, it’s really immersive. The outdoor area in the park was also very nice for an evening stroll. All in all, me and my family enjoyed ourselves, but it’s more worth to go when more of the park’s exhibitions are completed. We also hoped for more immersive exhibitions like Arriety.
Love the visit at Ghibli park at Aichi Nagoya. Got to see so many of the Ghibli characters, and take photos. Got to see a lot of the drawings and more too. Great 😃
