Excellent location to visit Ortigia and the Greek theater on foot. The right breakfast. Little salty and many cakes. The cappuccino and espresso made at the bar by the waiter are good. The rooms are clean but a little dated.

Polite, friendly, professional and welcoming staff. The room was very comfortable and all services work perfectly. Cleanliness is excellent and overall I was satisfied.

80's style hotel. Very nice and comfortable rooms. TV, air conditioning, change of sheets and towels every day. Excellent location of the hotel, on foot you can reach the most important attractions of the city, including Ortigia which is a gem. Excellent and abundant breakfast, there is really everything. Wonderful staff. A booking issue was resolved within minutes. They were very efficient. What can I say, we spent 3 nights in total relaxation. Definitely, if we go back we will stay here again 🤗

Do not stay here. It was a horrible dark and dreary room. The Air conditioner was blowing hot air and it could not be fixed and no other rooms available. This was at the end of June in the heat. They did give me a fan. The bathroom was so tiny and very dingy and old. One of my worst stays at any hotel.

Appalling hotel, room was dreadful, dull, dreary, chips out of walls and furniture. Bathroom had chipped mirror and incomplete door handle . Staff demeanor was poor, felt like they were not interested. We were part of a TUI island tour, the coach arrived late and the evening meal was rushed so that they could close the restaurant . No bar or area where we could sit and meet up Have written to TUI, as feel the hotel is not up to standard . Shame really, as Syracuse was excellent...

Clean and reasonably spacious twin share but lacking in modern fittings. Bathroom very dated. Hair dryer barely worked and mean with soap and shampoo. Breakfast reasonable. Just tired and in need of an update. Best characteristic is location. Wifi worked and has off street parking. Towels paper thin too.

We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff ~ a good start to our stay. While the room was small it was well set up and the ensuite was a good size. The balcony was excellent for drying washing but the air-conditioning struggled to cool the room. The buffet breakfast was excellent.

First hotel had massive bank of air con units outside the window so impossible to open the window because of the heat and the noise. Second room the windows didn't open. Decor was very old fashioned, bed uncomfortable, no internet in the bedroom (worked OK in receptioin). Good point - in a busy shopping street, bus from airport stops nearby

Internet was good but room was poorly presented, dark and hot. (Apparently too early for air conditioning). Two guests left with no towels and unhelpful staff. Whole hotel could do with an upgrade! Room was clean but many fridges were broken. Would not wish to stay here again.

Good location within 10 minute walk of main town and Ortigia However it is a very tired hotel, small dark rooms, twin bedded rooms have no space between the beds Communal areas are very tired and unloved, even a coat of paint would help brighten them Old lifts which work but are noisy and a little scarey – the outside lift did not work so you have to carry luggage up the stairs Outside décor also very rundown Bathroom is tiny with a very outdated shower cubicle and lots of staining on the walls and seals and rust could be seen on sink waste pipes and rust water which had to be run through before using Very cold concrete floors (bring slippers or flipflops) Breakfast was very basic, poor juices that are clearly powders with added water, weak coffee, assorted pastries, pots of sweetened yoghurts, ‘plastic cheese’ and hams and very few fruits The staff were nice and the Wi-Fi worked well but otherwise very little to recommend hotel for

Tiny room. The bed went almost from wall to wall. Absurd only one coffee machine for breakfast, I met a group of foreigners and there was an endless line to get coffee. very negative!!!!

Ottima la posizione . Tutto finisce qui . Albergo obsoleto polvere ovunque , ma la cosa peggiore di tutte è la cucina , oltre alla location che sembra un vecchio refettorio di un collegio di suore , il vino pessimo sia di qualità che di preparazione. Per colazione abbiamo trovato una torta rovinata e capovolta . Caffè dalla macchinetta e nei bicchieri di plastica . Un incubo . Assolutamente da cancellare!

Il pezzo forte di questo hotel è senza dubbio la cucina. Partiamo dal pane, soffice come un marmo di Carrara . La specialità dello scef è il primo piatto che mi ricorderò per molti anni : pasta con melanzane e funghi; un piatto che al solo sguardo trasmetteva tutte le emozioni dello scef. La scaloppina aromatizzata magistralmente com del limone aveva la consistenza di un burro ed era accompagnata costantemente da patate al dente . Torta già di perse eccellente ma con l'aggiunta di un insetto è stata bilanciata perfettamente donando proteine e croccantezza Coca-Cola molto economica solo 3€ Parmigiano molto stagionato da avere al suo interno della muffa. Personale educato e disponibile Piatti molto puliti abbelliti dai residui dei consumatori precedenti Stavamo dimenticando il caffè che ricorda i terreni agricoli di Siracusa. Consiglio a tutti coloro che amano la bellezza del brivido.
