We had a wonderful experience in Cape Vermeer. The situation in Somerset West is absolutely fabulous and the house is located on the hill, quiet and beautiful views. The reception was very friendly and helpful. The room has everything an experienced traveller wishes. Great! The breakfast on the terrace was outstanding and had all the ingredients for a healthy good start of the day. All together it was a great experience we will not forget. We look forward to go back.

From the moment you will walk into Cape Vermeer you will feel the welcoming atmosphere. The Studio and the Bay View Suite are well appointed, with every small appliance you could want. The beds are the best we ever slept in. The garden is a joy. The breakfast basket a daily surprise. It beats every breakfast we ever had in a hotel. Richard Schuurman is a wonderful host and extremely helpful. His team are extremely well trained and caring. This definitely is a 5 Star+ establishment. We hope to be able to return and enjoy being pampered!

We had a wonderful stay at Cape Vermeer! This is really a one of a kind gem, worth every penny. Richard, Bart and the whole Cape Vermeer team have a superb eye for detail, customer centricity and hospitality. Comfortable beds, an over complete breakfast, tailored to very specific dietary needs, and an amazing view from a safe - high up the mountain - neighborhood.

Cape Vermeer is a wonderful place to stay in Sumerset West, well located with stunning views. The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and everything has been thought of down to the finest details. Richard is a great host, his staff are all very committed. I definitely plan to come back

Richard and his team made everything to give us a very „home feeling“.The breakfast in the garden with the view to Capetown,was really special.The creations of different kind of eggs and the bacon was wonderful. Clean room with space und the non slippery Shower and bathroom made me very happy. Cape Vermeer is based in a very fine area with sufficient parking opportunities. Bookings and suggestions for restaurants were very helpful done by Richard. Enough good Golf Courses and Restaurants in the vineyards in ca.15 minutes reachable. See You next February 2025

A wonderfull Place with a perfect view. Great Breakfast service, very personal and individual Service by the owners. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Close to Golf Courses, Ocean and Shopping Malls. A super Place to stay.

Very nice location! Very firendly people (from owner to staff). The entiere organization is very much client focused. Location, Service, people, cleaniness all perfet. All in all it was a great experience ans just to be recommended. Thanks to the entire team!

This is the third time we spent holiday at Cape Vermeer. It is a very famous and magic place to be. It is very marvelous - there are a lots of reasons why it is marvelous and unique. For example: cordial -quite - absolut clean - particular healthy breakfast and much more.

If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet retreat than look no further. Richard, the host (and his friendly staff) doing an exceptional job in providing you with a "Home away from home". The thoughts they put into the presentation and quality of the breakfast is second to none and not forgetting the beautiful garden setting. It is a perfect location if one wants to explore Cape Town's surrounding coastal and wine areas. Cape Vermeer is a well looked after place where one feels "little things mean a lot" Thanks Richard
