This is a new hotel, about a year old in a great location. You have many restaurants, a pharmacy and a grocery store so close by. Roka our driver, a medical student on summer break was great. The staff were all nice. I would not say its a true five star hotel in that the towels are small, paper napkins at breakfast and a coffee machine at breakfast to get your own, never seen this before, but the staff will help you. But probably the best new hotel in the middle of the town. We had a junior suite, this is very small, with a small lounge which is next to pizza bar and on Saturday night a loud bass music noise. Also you can hear people walking on the room above. I would take a sea view room on the top floor or larger size sea view room with a terrace next time. I do not think this a hotel for children. The spa was average.

The hotel is not in the old city on the edge of the old city, but because the old city is not big, it is very convenient to visit the old city. It takes a few minutes to go anywhere, and the hotel has its own parking space. The decoration is new and modern, the bathroom in the room is also very large, and the bath water is very comfortable. Good location, beautiful views and small rooms. Service was good overall, but uncle was weaker when checking out. I couldn't find the bill I signed for consumption. The hotel documents issued were all in local language and I couldn't understand. In addition to the room rate, there are also city taxes, insurance fees (I do n’t know what insurance is covered), and registration fees (I do n’t know what to note). It was said that the packaged breakfast was not available. I later complained and replied that I did not take it. The restaurant and room service are very good, and the front desk service is also very good during the day, that is, when checking out early in the morning, the uncle's ability to communicate is too weak. Lowered the service level of the hotel.

Our experience was bad! After our reservation online, we received a confirmation email and check-in instructions. Inexplicably, on the morning of the day of our arrival, the structure asks us to insert a new credit card, despite the fact that we have already withdrawn the money from our account and moreover an amount higher than that of the reservation. Of course we do not give any other cards and the structure, despite having already taken our money, cancels the reservation 4 hours before our arrival. We call several times and we are told that we will be called back because they have to check. Nobody ever calls us back. One hour before our arrival we call again and they tell us that we will find someone waiting for us in front of the room at the appointed time for the delivery of the key. Once on the spot, however, no one shows up and no one answers our repeated calls: on the contrary, they always throw our phone down and do not respond to messages or e-mails. In practice at 21.00 we are in Split without a room even though we have already paid more than the amount of the reservation. If that were not enough, after 7 days we have not yet been returned the money and they do not even answer us. We are trying to deny payment by credit card, but we are told that we must file a complaint for the fraudulent withdrawal. That's what we're going to do. Terrible experience that I do not wish on anyone! In decades of travel, such a thing has never happened to us !! Not recommended !!! They are dishonest people

Returned home after a 4 night stay in split. After reading reviews we were expecting it to be noisy so we brought ear plugs just incase but wasn't at all (we stayed in a room without a balcony). The room was lovely and modern. Big TV with apps so you can sign into your Netflix, fast internet. Hair dryer (which was a tually a really good hairdryer), ironing board and iron, kettle and lovely big shower. The staff at the accomodations were lovely and helpful. The location was perfect for the city. Will be returning to Riva luxury rooms next time I visit Split.

The Hotel is nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. I enjoyed the homey atmosphere. However, there are a few things one should be aware of before booking: The hotel is in the historic district just about 5 min walk west from the Prominade area. Taxis cannot drive in, so it is necessary to walk in with one's baggage. Also, any excursions will start with a walk out of the area to the main taxi stand. Navigating the area can be a challenge the first couple of times; one MUST have the ability to use their maps app. T-mobile - America has an international plan that give you up to 2G speed unlimited data and texting, but I highly recommend getting a local sim card. Look at the map of the city before choosing this hotel. There are a lot of nice restaurants within 2-5 minutes walking. Furthermore, the office closes from 11pm till 7am. Most importantly, they DO NOT take credit cards. IF you did not pay for the room online, you will need local cash, and you will need it to pay the taxes on the room, and for a taxi if you booked it through the hotel. Cash only. (They do have a zelle option, but I could not get it to work. I recommend cash. Speaking of cash, one should get it from an actual bank ATM as the rates 11% vs the 22-25% some private ATMs charge.) I give the hotel 4 of 5 for comfort, 5/5 for cleanliness, 3 or 5 for location. I'd give this hotel

What an outstanding apartment! Right on the waterfront, one block away from the fountain and main plaza with all the cafes and stores. The building doesn't look like much from the street, but the apartment was incredibly updated with excellent security, bathroom, TV, air conditioning, refrigerator, Wi-Fi and electrical outlets that were pre-fitted with adapters for U.S. plugs. It's on the fourth floor, but that's how you get the beautiful view of the harbor and waterfront. This is a thoroughly modern and convenient apartment for first-time or return travelers to Split. So much was just a walk away: Marjan Park, Diocletian's Palace, all the cafes and stores in the old city, a small grocery store on the ground floor of the apartment building and the ferry to Hvar.
