We stayed four nights for a soccer tournament. Overall the stay was descent, but there was a few areas that were unacceptable, especially when paying $225 a night for two of the nights stayed. The majority of our stay the ice machines were out of ice. Staffs' response was that too many guests fill their coolers with ice, thus requiring time for them to restock. Since it's not my job to police guests, the responsibility falls on the hotel to figure out how to ensure all guests are able to receive ice. Also it was found out that a router was out on the wireless internet, thus the majority of the time we were unable to receive internet service in our room. We were not given a discount when asked and the blame was completely scapegoated to the internet company. Also one of the days there was no hot water in the morning, which made for a cold shower. All of these issues are unacceptable in general, yet more so when paying $225 a night. If a hotel is not able to accommodate for high guest occupancy, then they need to rent less rooms and /or charge less. On the positive sides, the staff were all friendly and helpful, rooms and grounds were clean, and breakfast was good. Again, stay was descent but standards fell far short, especially for the price paid.
