The town has a beautiful and clean environment, and the hotel is very close to the shuttle. Because I drove to Springdale from Las Vegas, it was already late at night when I arrived, and there was no one in the lobby, but the staff put my room card in an envelope and posted it on the On the glass door of the lobby, and told me to check in first, and then check-in the next morning. The rooms are a bit of a log cabin decor. The parking space is free and can be parked until 4 pm on the day of departure. This is the first small town on our journey. The hotel is backed by mountains, very beautiful and quiet.

Pioneer Lodge is in a beautiful setting and the host is very nice and helpful to stayed the for access to Zion National park and it did not dissappoint being avle to stay in the hotel car park until 6pm on the day of checkout was a definite bonus

Property is extremely old and setup more like a motel 6. The rooms are small and the bathroom is not sufficient. The beds are not comfortable. The hotel staff is really lacking. The grab and go breakfast is nice but how can a hotel not have a coffee maker in the lobby? Location is great though, walking distance to Zion National park entrance. 0.7 miles away.

Hot tub suite was great after having been camping for three days. The room had a kitchenette which was nice. They look newly updated.

The Zion Pioneer Lodge is situated right amongst restaurants, eateries, and convenience stores. The lodge is quaint with furniture made from wooden logs. A couple of hand towels could have been dusted better. While the free breakfast could've been better, it was adequate for our stay during Christmas.

Our brief stay in Springdale was concise. The check-in process was both quick and welcoming. However, there were connectivity issues with wifi and limited T-Mobile signal, whether specific to our room or the hotel's general area. Unfortunately, the room fell short in terms of cleanliness, with visible hairs from previous occupants on the blanket cover and pillows. Our ground-floor room had transparent white curtains and a short green drape that offered minimal privacy. We had to improvise by tying the green drapes together to shield our room from outside view. Consequently, our night was focused on rest before an early hiking start. The breakfast, consisting of microwaveable sandwiches and yogurt. The checkout time is 11pm but the lodging does let folks park their car until 6pm which was considered and convenient.

The hotel say that the breakfast is included and you can see in their pictures the area for buffet breakfast. But they have a BREAKFAST TO GO that is a bag with yogurt and an apple. So if this is important for you, choose another option.

The rooms are dated and felt musty inside. We found a dead roach inside of the door and did not want to walk without shoes on afterwards. The walls are very thin and you can hear the upstairs unit loudly.
The wooden bed frame are poorly designed causing it to be very uncomfortable when sitting against it. Only good thing about this place is the location.
