We loved our stay with Diane and her "unique", beautiful home. Beautifully decorated rooms (not modern, in keeping with the age and style of the house). I say "unique" because of the number of rooms in the house. You can have a Cooked-To-Order Breakfast in a different room for 3 straight days. Yes, the breakfasts were amazing and since the Kitchen is right there, you get to interact with the great cook and servers.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay here. The room was amazing and the breakfast was excellent. Our hostess Diane was very accommodating. And, it’s so close to town as well.

The place appears to be closed. The door is locked. No one answers the phone. The pool filter isn’t running. But they drill take reservations online. Total scam.

We really enjoyed our stay at this charming bed and breakfast. If you like to feel like you are stepping back in time, this Inn is for you. Breakfast was wonderful. It is very conveniently located to the museums, Tanglewood, and the Guthrie Center. We would stay again when in the area.

The Stockbridge Country Inn is a real treat! Our room was beautiful with the most comfortable bed. Delicious breakfasts were shared with guests who had stayed there many times and who offered names of local spots to check out. The location was perfect for visiting Tanglewood and the Berkshire Botanical Garden. Thank you to Diane for her wonderful hospitality!

The Stockbridge Country Inn is a lovely place to stay while visiting the Berkshires. It is very close to Tanglewood and other Berkshire attractions like the Mount and the Norman Rockwell museum. The rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds and en suite bathrooms. The breakfast is wonderful with many options and accommodations for food allergies. Diane is a wonderful host, and gives great recommendations for area attractions and day trips. I would highly recommend staying at the Stockbridge County Inn.

Diane and her staff at the Inn are warm and welcoming. The room was comfortable and well stocked with towels and amenities. The breakfasts were generous, delicious, and served with a smile and friendly conversation. The Inn has numerous public spaces to find a spot to sit and read, or engage in conversation. As a bonus, the Inn has a swimming pool set in the Inn's lovely country surroundings; a nice place to sit and relax (and swim).

After a quick meet and greet from Diane, the owner, we were taken up two flights of stairs to our room. Immediately upon entering both my husband and I groaned when we saw the lack of room darkening shades or curtains to block out the morning light. Here we go again we thought. Off to a hardware store to buy large black garbage bags and duct tape to cover the windows we went. What is it about Inns in Lenox, Massachusetts that do not have room darkening shades nor curtains to block out the morning light? This was the third Inn we have stayed in that had none. The bathroom was not inside the room but a short walk down our private hall. While a free standing tub is quaint it is not easy hoisting yourself out of it. There was a walk in shower with two shower heads which would have been luxurious but neither one had a shower head that really worked. Lightbulbs were missing in the many lamps placed around the room. We kept moving lightbulbs from one lamp to another for adequate reading light. If my husband or I went to the kitchen for ice we felt like we were intruding upon whatever Diane was doing instead of her being happy to provide. Perhaps water bottles in our room's refrigerator would have been a nice perk. Breakfast was included with store bought muffins and pastries. A chef was available for limited hot entrees. The pool was the highlight of our stay. It was at a perfect temperature and we had it to ourselves each time we went down to it. The little air conditioning units in the bedroom and bathroom worked surprisingly well. Not being happy with the pillow firmness I asked Diane if she had any other pillows. With a quick reply of no, when she walked away I looked in the hallway linen closet and lo and behold found the perfect pillow. Upon our quick and early departure Diane told my husband that she noticed we like our room dark and that the Hilton Inn had very dark curtains. Without missing a beat Tom told her that yes, we are looking forward to going there and will give it a try. A wonderful hotel will be finally renovated next summer that we have previously stayed in for many years and we are looking forward to spending a weekend there next summer during the Tanglewood season. The bathroom is not down a hall but within the room behind a closed door. Window treatments are also guaranteed.

Beautiful, well located inn on a country road outside Stockbridge. Outstanding breakfasts and superior hospitality. Diane is an innkeeper par excellence and her staff is genial and attentive. The swimming pool provides an added attraction on hot summer days.

My wife and I spent a lovely weekend at the Stockbridge Country Inn. The performances at the Barrington Stage and Tanglewood were within easy distances. Diane's hospitality was superb. The room was clean and well appointed; the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! We'll be staying there again (for sure).

Awesome B&B nestled in a near perfect location just a short drive from beautiful downtown Stockbridge Massachusetts. Quality rooms, receptive and friendly staff, delicious breakfasts, and overall a quiet setting. Also a straight shot up 183 to Tanglewood which seems an easier access to any event you have tickets to. Also about a mile from the Norman Rockwell Museum. Great location, peaceful place to stay.

The Inn is beautifully appointed and private. Diane and her staff went above and beyond in making our stay special and memorable. The Stockbridge suite was fabulous. Lots of room and a great shower, bed and living area. The breakfast was delicious. We will definitely come back.

Totally delightful stay at Stockbridge Country Inn. It truly feels like home away from home … but even better! From the warm welcome to the cozy, comfortable bedroom (and wonderful bed!) to the delicious (and gorgeous) breakfasts each day, everything was perfect! The Inn is such a beautiful place, inside and out. Every thoughtful detail enhances the experience of staying there. In all our travels so far, it's now our favorite B & B, and we've been to many. Truly looking forward to another visit

Diane made us feel very comfortable and was a very kind host. Breakfast was delicious every day! The Inn was centrally located to all the sights in the area and downtown Stockbridge. Diane gave us excellent tips on what to see and what to. Love the area!
