The Inn is beautifully appointed and private. Diane and her staff went above and beyond in making our stay special and memorable. The Stockbridge suite was fabulous. Lots of room and a great shower, bed and living area. The breakfast was delicious. We will definitely come back.

Totally delightful stay at Stockbridge Country Inn. It truly feels like home away from home … but even better! From the warm welcome to the cozy, comfortable bedroom (and wonderful bed!) to the delicious (and gorgeous) breakfasts each day, everything was perfect! The Inn is such a beautiful place, inside and out. Every thoughtful detail enhances the experience of staying there. In all our travels so far, it's now our favorite B & B, and we've been to many. Truly looking forward to another visit

Diane made us feel very comfortable and was a very kind host. Breakfast was delicious every day! The Inn was centrally located to all the sights in the area and downtown Stockbridge. Diane gave us excellent tips on what to see and what to. Love the area!

Diane was a wonderful host for our visit to the Stockbridge Country Inn in Stockbridge, MA this weekend. She was very friendly and helpful. Our favorite thing about our stay at the inn was the AMAZING breakfast, and I don't use that word often. It was fresh and delicious and the portions very generous. My husband enjoyed the coffee though I would have loved a dark roast option. Our server was efficient and friendly. The common areas were beautifully decorated (all 3 dining rooms) and the living area (part of one of the dining areas) was cozy and inviting. The location can't be beat ~ just minutes away from The Norman Rockwell Museum and The Berkshire Botanical Gardens, with downtown Stockbridge being only a 7 min. drive. My only suggestions would be to have bar soap in the bathroom, a top-loading water dispenser, and ice that would be available at night (Diane offered us ice upon check-in but when we needed it later in the evening it was locked in the kitchen. Perhaps I should have called to request it). I would also suggest a well-lit sign to mark the inn on the roadside. All in all, we enjyed our stay and met some very nice people over breakfast.

We usually stay at the Inn at Stockbridge when we are in the area, and we wanted to try something different, so this year we chose the Stockbridge Country Inn. I'm honestly a little surprised at the 5-star reviews. I will agree with another reviewer that the photos on the website are misleading. They were probably taken some time ago. The property could use some TLC. I will say that we had plenty of fluffy towels and the room seemed clean. However, when I stay at a B&B, I expect hotel-quality linens and toiletries, and this was not the case. The bedding was not hotel quality, the toilet paper was so flimsy you could see through it, and we had a used, nearly empty plastic soap dispenser that had watered-down soap in it. Our room was hot, there was no air conditioning and we couldn't open the windows because there were no screens. The inn is crowded with stuff - furniture, books, etc. - it felt cluttered to us. And I was disappointed that there really wasn't any way to enjoy the outdoor space. The porches were closed up and there didn't seem to be any outdoor seating. We did enjoy our breakfast; the coffee was good, they served plenty of food including pastries, fresh fruit, and a main course, and Julie, our server, was attentive and friendly. However, we were disappointed to hear the owner and staff complaining about other guests within our earshot. I do appreciate that the inn has been serving the area for many years, but it just wasn't for us.

Quaint country inn located near many area attractions in Stockbridge. Excellent breakfast and terrific, welcoming staff. Diane and Vernon have their hospitality perfected! Clean and comfortable. Felt like going back in time.

Diane greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our elegantly appointed room where all was picture perfect.She had previously suggested dinner reservations and venues which were excellent. The included breakfasts were superb. Best French toast ever. The Norman Rockwell museum was just down the road and is not to be missed. We also enjoyed Edith Wharton’s home at the Mount and “downtown” is a forever classic. The perfect Fall escape.

We spent 6 days/nights at the Stockbridge Country Inn while we explored the Bershires. It was delightful, enjoyable, and accommodating. The breakfasts were excellent and plentiful; the bed was very comfortable; we had plenty of hot water in our spacious bathroom with shower. Diane is a wonderful hostess. She gave us wonderful recommendations, tips, and history of the Stockbridge area. We hope to return!

We had never visited the Berkshires before, and our stay at the Country Inn was a great base from which to do so. Our room was cozy, comfortable, and cheerful. Breakfasts were generous and scrumptious, our fellow guests and the hostess full of lively conversation. And the location couldn't have been more convenient, as we took in the local museums, and wandered up to Pittsfield and down to Great Barrington. When we come back, we will be booking here again.

The Inn is centrally located in the Berkshire region of Massachusetts, allowing easy access to the cultural institutions, retail shops and restaurants in the Stockbridge-Lenox-Great Barrington area. If you plan on vacationing in this region, look no further than the SCI for your accommodations. You will not be disappointed!

This was such a pleasant stay!!! We were visiting from New Jersey for Labor Day 2023. The Inn Keeper, Diane was a darling...a welcoming, kind, interesting, resourceful lady, and she really sold us on the town and activities, even telling us about a John Legend concert at Tanglewood that became the icing on our trip. Her breakfast was delish, filling and well rounded(great fruit and greek omelette). The inn is in great condition and the decor sparked nostalgia and that initial excitement that let's you know you're going to have a good trip(loved the bath soap and saved one to bring home...lol). Good pricing/a good choice.

The Stockbridge Country Inn is the quintessential New England B&B! The owner, Diane, is the perfect host - very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We stayed in The Maid's Suite which was extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was always a delicious treat! The convenient location made access to sightseeing so easy.

The Inn is really lovely! The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and kept very clean. The pool is very pretty, with flowers around it and kept nice and clean. The water temperature is comfortable as well. Breakfast is served every morning and is delicious and quite large. We have been staying here for many years and this year there are new owners who are very nice. We will be back!

This is a charming old home. Rooms are fitted out for modern times. Breakfasts are outstanding and served in various charming dining spaces. Friendly and efficient and the chef did a fabulous job on the breakfasts. Tucked away but very close to the center of Stockbridge.
