Freys Hotel

Lovely hotel. Room was a little on the snug side once you include luggage, but was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Extra pillows were already in the room which was useful. Room was decorated really nicely and you couldn't hear any outside noise (was on 5th floor). Had dinner and beers/ wine in the adjoining restaurant one night which was good. Also had the complimentary breakfast in the mornings which were well organised and had lots of choices. Only one key to the room (an actual key) so not sure if you could request a second one. Location was great for the station / metro and lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Even the lifts were lovely with old photographs and mini chandeliers in.

The first time I get inside, there was trashinside the bin. it's too old. The bathroom accidently have asudden noisy after shower.

Renovation was going on the day we checked in but stopped at 4pm. Overall good service and good breakfast.

Room very small but manageable. Good location next to train station. Okay breakfast. Solid selection of food. No vegetables though.

The breakfast is included and has a lot of varieties. The sauna and gym in the basement are pretty good. You need to reserve the sauna at the reception for free.

We had a very pleasant three-night stay. The location was perfect, very close to all transportation. The rooms were spacious enough and clean. The only downside for winter stays was the lack of a heater. There wasn’t one in our room, but we requested it and they provided it.

I booked this room for birthday of family member. The hotel went out of their way to make a good surprise for them and arrange some small gifts as well as accommodating them for special dietary preferences during breakfast time. The room was a spacious and the decoration was beautiful. The reception staff were very welcoming and it was a very memorable and enjoyable stay for them.
