Sleep Inn & Suites Stony Creek - Petersburg South Reviews

The room was very clean. Since it hasn't been updated, it had a big tub, which I was very happy for. The biggest negative was the crinkly plastic under the sheet for whatever reason and the pillows were small - not standard size. The breakfast area was clean and very organized and the hot food was standard hotel fare. A different take on the eggs was instead of scrambled, they were made into cheese omelets. I'd stay there again.

Staff was very helpful. The woman who checked us in went above and beyond what was expected. Great morning breakfast also

Couldn’t find a desk clerk when we got there. I had to call the hotel, while standing at the front desk, to get service. We walked to our room following a trail of clumps of mud on the carpet and down the hall. When we got to our room, the smell was bad and there were mystery stains in the carpet. We fell asleep to the sound of the laundry room right beside our room. Breakfast was almost non existent. There was an empty egg option, no coffee and no creamer of any kind. Staff seemed annoyed when we asked about coffee. We went to the closest convenience store for coffee. I would never stay there again. I’m assuming the employees are writing their own reviews. I can’t think of anything good to say about this motel. There’s a Hampton next door for $20 more. Go for that instead!!

The hotel was old and poorly maintained and not very clean. The bathroom is not very clean. The air conditioner squealed noisily, so it was difficult to get a good sleeping temperature

Super friendly and helpful staff. Adequate room condition. Horrible plumbing in bathroom. Sink faucet and shower faucet both leaked all night and the shower water pressure was horrible. Would stay hete again because issues might have just been that one room. Nice to have gas station and restaurants next door, for easy access.

The staff was so accommodating and friendly. Wish more places had such good customer service! When we pulled back the comforter on the bed the sheets had hair all over them. Long hair and ***** hair. It made my night uncomfortable. I did ask for new bedding. Showers and bathrooms have rust and a bit run down. Again, staff was very accommodating.

Door was broken, bed was uncomfortable, things needed overall fixing, not much of a breakfast. Will be staying somewhere else if in this area again. Not worth the $$$ spent.

House keeping is a little rough around the edges. Front desk girls are lovely. The pool is fantastic. Descent breakfast. Great Mexican restaurant up the street.

Room needed a rehabilitation - Bathroom was old and worn - Tub was stained and awful calking around sink and tub.
