Paid extra for breakfast but reception staff said I never did. Missing bulbs on outside of room so couldn’t see to get in and fell over

The stay started poorly when it took an hour to check in. There was one person on reception and a constant stream of guests. The room was a good format with the king bed and bunks - though the way two singles are stitched together to make a king bed means there is a large drop off between the beds There were urine stains or something equally as grotty on the front of the toilet. The air conditioner/heater sounded like farm machinery - and was quite loud through the night Water temperature in the shower - adding no cold to the mix and the water was still only warm at best The breakfast which was included in the room price - there was a good selection of cereal, hot food and pastries - but once again the poor staff struggled to keep up with the number of guests and there wasn't enough room for people to sit down to eat. Guests ate outside in about 6 degrees temp. The staff did their best Lastly value for money - a basic room was $414 for a night. Seemed like a bit of a rip-off considering how basic the room was - feels like price gouging for school holidays

The motel room was clean, the pool was lovely, the park great for kids. We would stay here again.

Our room was great. There is a decent walk to everything which is ok but the paths are not level and broken which makes it difficult. It could use a good clean and paint overall.

Whole facility is run down and unkept. Taps didn’t work for the shower, bed bases were broken, possums in the roof. Charged $60 to get the key 1 hour earlier to attend a funeral because we wouldn’t make it back before 6pm to get keys (which they wanted to also charge an additional $50 for). Staff member was rude and inconsiderate. Won’t stay ever again. Disgraceful.

Pretty good for a quick stopover if you are driving. Room was pretty clean, but had a slightly dank smell. Beds were comfy. Dining options in-house were not available, and there isn’t much else around.

Our fridge didn’t work- had to throw stuff out and buy ice to keep out water cold for our son who was attending the ACT athletics championships .

Did not like the boy coming around the rooms early in the morning with his loud leaf blower right outside our doors. Attending breakfast on the 2nd morning to walk into majority of tables left with dirty plates cups cutlery, only one staff member to service it all - i don't think he was even an f&b staff member as he was fixing the coffee machine that wasn't working, he then had to clear some tables so we could sit.

The included breakfast was yum and had a good variety but they needed more staff. One person ran around to do everything. The pool was lovely. The rooms were a bit unloved even though there’s huge potential for the property. The bathroom was great. The bush was lovely. For the price, I’d stay there again.

Found a cockroach on my bedsheet. Tv remote wasn’t working One of the room light wasn’t working either. Staff didn’t bother to ask how my stay was upon checking out.

We have stayed here often and it has always seen better days. It's always been cheap and a good breakfast so that balanced it out. This time was probably the last time we stay there. The Wifi doesn't reach the rooms if you can even join. It's been like that the last few times we stayed there. The rooms need a good solid clean. The maintenance needs to be completed not just spot fixed. The facilities need a refresh or removal. The breakfast now doesn't redeem the other faults of the property anymore and is subpar. The buffet is basic which is fine but the quality just isn't there. The staff are all pleasant but defensive of the properties faults rather than problem solvers. If it's cheap enough we would stay there again.

Stayed here with the family. Clean room, kids loved the bunk beds. Pool was great, long open hours helps to get in another swim before checkout. The breakfast was good and convenient. Would definitely stay here next time we are in Canberra
