Hotel Zum Kaiser

The hotel is devoid of any charm. The rooms are tastelessly furnished and showing their age. The hotel is not on the beach either, but on a busy road, which is noisy and therefore a good night's sleep is out of the question. The breakfast room is particularly uncharming and depressing, an outdated backyard room with dark, cheap early 20th-century furniture that you wouldn't want to sit in by choice. How the hotel got 4 stars is a mystery to me. The beds are uncomfortable, the pillows are hard foam bombs, it was really very uncomfortable.

Parfaitement situé, proche de tout. Chambre confortable, petite mais calme et excellente literie. Personnel serviable. En revanche tout se gâte au petit-déjeuner. Étonnamment peu de choix, les pains proposés sont sans intérêt, le café est bon sans plus. Très décevant pour un hôtel qui se réclame d’un certain standard et loin d’être à la hauteur des petit-déjeuners des hotels où nous avons séjourné et qui sont formidables. Le service est impeccable et attentif, quel dommage ! Du coup nous avons préféré prendre nos dîners ailleurs. De plus la salle à manger est assez déprimante, vieillote et les tableaux sont quand même assez “douteux”, nostalgiques dirait-on d’un passé “compliqué”.
