Good hotel for a fair price. The breakfast was ok and the location is in the old town very close to the train station. Friendly staff.

The elevator didn't work and the room was still on the 6th floor. Breakfast was good, especially the croissants. The hotel is near the train station and bus station. The location is good, close to the town center, next to the railway village historical village, and a 10-minute walk from the outlet.

호텔 엘리베이터가 안됩니다. 일시적 고장이 아니고 (고장인척 하지만) 무슨 이유인지 고객에게 사용불가라며 6층까지 캐리어 들고 올라가야 합니다. 엘리베이터는 작동하는데 문이 안열리게 키로 잠가 놨습니다. 직원들이 몰래 키로 엘레베이터 문을 잠그고 직원들 사용시 키를 이용해 문을 여는것을 봤습니다. 이해할 수 없습니다.

Parking is very limited, very small car park at the back of the hotel. Receptionist was very very slow. It took half an hour to get checked in due to having an IHG members number which she had no idea what to do with. She was pleasant but painfully slow, obviously not fully trained and had to call someone else. The worst thing was the lift was broken for the 2 day stay and I was put on the 2nd floor so had to traipse everything up and down 8 flights of stairs in the fire escape. No apology, nothing, just lift is broken and the stairs are over there. Ordered a double room, got 2 single beds. Works are going on through the hotel so be prepared for banging from 7am, not a problem for me as I was on the road not long after but if you want to relax you have no hope. I stay in IHG hotels every weekday night and have luckily avoided this hotel previously, never will I stay in this one again.

Over night stay visiting family nearby. Firstly my fault I thought I booked holiday inn Swindon west as we have stayed there before so it was the wrong hotel booked and the car parking was a few minutes walk. The lift was out of order when we arrived so we had to walk up stairs to our room thankfully we were on the first floor. Room was big enough and very clean however the kettle didn’t work so a cup of tea before bed was out of the question. Breakfast was nice freshly stocked with well cooked breakfast items. The area was quite noisy with people nearby outside the hotel however it was a Thursday evening.

On arrival, the receptionist helped me book a room and got me sorted really quick. Afterwards, i ordered some food in the restaurant, and I recommend trying the chicken it's amazing. Thank you, Socorrina and rabeka, for making me feel welcome, and for doing your job properly

Reserved a room for one night on our return to Heathrow from Wales. When we entered the lobby, there was no desk clerk -- only two security guards at a card table, who immediately jumped up and announced that the hotel had "no rooms." When informed that the website said otherwise and, moreover, that we had a reservation, they reiterated the no rooms thing, then literally grabbed us and dragged us outside! I don't know what's going on at this place, but it is incredibly sketchy -- IHG needs to do some serious work. STAY AWAY.

IHG cancelled our booking with no explanation appalling service for a large company. They then expected us to pay for another room in another with no compensation with a price difference of £250. Our booking was made 10months prior to date of stay to ensure we had accommodation for the air show

Booked this hotel back in August 2021 for July 2022 to attend the Royal Air Show ,(which has been rescheduled a few times) had a phone call today to tell us they have cancelled our booking due to "a private contract" and we should look at the Jury's Inn or Holiday Inn swindon west . Jury's Inn is fully booked and the Holiday Inn is £350 - we paid just over £100. Cancelling 4 months out either means we stump up a lot more money or we try to cancel our plans. Holiday Inn offered us nothing by way of an apology nor did they even apologise, we asked for the cancellation via email, they won't even do that. So thanks Holiday Inn for making a difficult few years even worse

We stayed here as part of a coach party with National Holidays. The Hotel was extremely clean and all the staff we encountered were amazingly friendly even though at times they were very busy. Check in was efficient and we were in our room in no time. Room, although small, had all we needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was good - with continental, fresh fruit, and a full English if required. You could help yourself to hot drinks. I enjoyed the evening meal on our first night (Pate, Veg Lasagna, Sponge cream cake) it filled a gap and we have to understand the hotel will be on a tight budget with National Holidays so didn’t expect too much. As these holidays are so inexpensive we always budget in a nice meal out and so enjoyed a meal on our second day in the wonderful city of Bath - so cant comment on the hotel evening meal on the second night. There is not much going on in Swindon Centre. We did visit the local Wetherspoons which is 5 mins from the hotel as are a few other bars and shops. The area seemed in need of some investment - however the hotel is smart and modern. Overall a great stay at a clean and friendly hotel
