Such a peaceful, beautiful property. The resort itself was really beautiful, and the staff took such great care of us. They were very hospitable, gave us great tips and were really patient and kind people. The food at the restaurant was good with a few vegetarian options. The room itself was clean. Definitely on the smaller side but still cozy

Not the best stay but maybe things just happened to me.. The shower was cold, my husband for some reason had hot, the a/c unit stopped working in the middle of the night and spit water all over my face followed by ice cubes. For some reason they put the bed under the a/c unit.. Dinner was good, staff was nice. Did hear and see the howler monkeys from our deck, that was cool. Took a canoe trip up the river which was neat and a bit scary as the current is pretty strong, we did have a guide though. The hotel did refund us breakfast and the canoe trip for our troubles with the a/c unit. I would not stay here again.

Off the beaten path but very nice place and food. Lovely grounds and super nice rooms. Didn’t get a chance to use the kayaks in the morning but when we go back someday we will leave enough time for. We were only there one night. Note: they are down a long dirt road.

No one warned us that this resort is only reachable by driving over 8 km on dirt and gravel “road” that was terrifying. Then we finally arrived to what looked like a house with no signs. We eventually found someone who checked us in . It was 100 degrees and no shade where she checked us in. Then we walked a fair distance in the raging sun to our unit, which was wide open, no air conditioning. She turned on the air, but that necessitated shutting wooden shutters over every window! So no view! Then we were very hungry, but restaurant is closed until 4:00. Only three choices for dinner, way overpriced, but we chose pork chops and fish. The pork chops were very thin and cooked until they were not even able to be cut with a knife. When we mentioned this, they grabbed my husband’s plate away from him because they said that if he ate any of the side dishes that they would charge us for the replacement meal in addition to the original order!

We had a magical time here. The room was fantastic with a very comfy bed and lots of space. The setting is truly magical and the service was exceptional. Our favourite place during our 3 week trip to Belize. Sweetened by the fact that it was really good value.

My son and I really loved this place. The rooms were spacious and super clean and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Great place to stay when going to Tikal. Highly recommend

This is my second time at the property and I really enjoy the ambiance every time. Better attention by the waiters to those waiting long periods of time would be helpful.

double charged for the room, room was musty smelling and I feel someone should deliver the luggage to the room as it was a very far walk for a senior citizen

Great views to the river. Very spacious rooms. They helped us with our ATM tour, overall very helpful. Restaurant can be a bit slow, but the front desk warns you about it. Food is basic.
