Property is great. Food could have been better

Had a wonderful stay, a nice spacious room, with the balcony overlooking the hotel grounds, where the high tea (Kachri) happened and the hills. It was good to have the sitout space in the balcony, quite enjoyable. The room itself was also good, had all the modern amenities, including the bathtub, the Bluetooth speaker, a work desk and an arm chair with foot rest. The indoor heated pool was kind of private for us, as there was hardly anyone using it, we had a great time there and in the steam and shower area later. Steam cubicle was quite compact and was good for single person use at a time. As we were celebrating our anniversary, we got the nice surprise with the fruit platter and a cake, it was all very good. We absolutely loved the lounge hour, enjoyed the Cocktails ***** with Chilli Chicken and Prawns. Later we ordered Pizza in Room Service. Breakfast was amazing too, loved the spread, totally enjoyable, and then the Singer came to the table, to make it a perfect moment. Everything was just perfect during the stay.

We had a lovely stay at Walnut Grove Hotel in Mussoorie. The highlight of our mornings was undoubtedly the breakfast, a wonderful spread that we thoroughly enjoyed every single day. But the absolute highlight of our entire stay was the Tambola. We had an absolute blast and it was hands down the most fun we had on the whole trip. If you get the chance to join in, don’t miss it! What also set this hotel apart was the staff. Every team member went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Their warmth and friendliness made our stay feel genuinely special, and it’s the kind of hospitality that’s hard to forget. Would highly recommend Walnut Grove to anyone visiting Mussoorie. A gem of a property with a heart to match.

Our stay at JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa from 04-05-2026 to 07-05-2026 was truly wonderful and refreshing. The hotel ambiance was lovely, and the mountain views from the rooms were absolutely breathtaking. The courtesy and helpfulness of the staff made us feel as if we were surrounded by family throughout our stay. The breakfast spread was excellent, and the service at breakfast by Miss Antra and Miss Sakshi from the Food & Beverages Department was exceptionally warm and attentive. A special mention to the soulful songs by Anas Khan (@pahadibal9385) during breakfast, which made our mornings even more memorable. We were also very well received and taken care of by Miss Ria, Mr. Abhishek Tuluri, and Mr. Rohit Adikhari. Special thanks to Mr. Lokendra for perfectly managing our airport pickup and drop arrangements, as well as our sightseeing trips with a very good vehicle and chauffeur. Overall, we had a hassle-free, stress-free, and memorable vacation experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway in Mussoorie.

Stayed at JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa and it truly is a beautiful property with stunning mountain views that make the whole experience feel special. The rooms are a little on the smaller side and are starting to show their age, but honestly, we didn’t spend much time in them, so it didn’t take away from the overall stay. Where this place really stands out is the service. It’s excellent—clearly a team of well-trained, experienced staff who genuinely care. A special mention to Rohit, who heads up Food & Beverages, for his outstanding recommendations and attention to detail. Jyoti from the F&B team, who looked after us each evening during happy hour, was amazing—warm, attentive, and always serving with a smile. She’s a real asset, and it’s rare to come across someone so dedicated. Also, Priyanka at the front desk deserves recognition—extremely helpful, responsive, and full of great recommendations for tours and things to do. Overall, a fantastic resort that really goes out of its way to make you feel comfortable. Would highly recommend.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The view from my room was truly breathtaking, offering a stunning panorama that was a joy to behold. The service I received was excellent, with every staff member going above and beyond. I especially appreciated the warmth and professionalism of the front office manager pratiksha pais, who made my check-in seamless. J W Marriott Walnut Grove is a place to go, should you ever visit Mussoorie. It's service standards speak volumes for itself. Although it was a business trip, we had a fabulous stay there. Everything was so well taken care of and done from the heart. It truly was a great experience - special thanks to Pratiksha Pais and the front office team, who made it their mission to take care of our entire group. Pratiksha was extremely attentive and ensured that we were at our comfortable best. Thanks for making it so memorable.
